What are the side effects of expired altosec? Anything serious? ## Hello, Monica! How are you? No, there's nothing to worry about. It doesn't become toxic or anything, it just starts to become less effective, so it may not work as well. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, flatulence and stomach pain. Is there anything else I can help with?

can seroquil be a cause of mitral valve prolapse ## Hi Monica, While I haven't found any information relating Seroquel (Quetiapine) to Mitral valve prolapse, I did find "fast or irregular heartbeat" to be a severe side effect associated with this medication. I do wonder though if this side effect, in and of itself, can eventually lead to Mitral valve prolapse? If you're experiencing any unusual or disabling side effects by taking Seroquel, then I would recommend asking your doctor about switching medications or opting for a more natural alternative to the drug. You may also want to take a look at Seroquel's list of side effects, for reference: ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0001030/#a698019-sideEffects I hope this helps! ## Can you take seroqel with a prolapsed hea...

Oral Cipro has risk of tendon rupture. Do Cipro ear drops have that same risk? I have just been prescribed Cipro ear drops for an ear infection. ## Hello, Monica! How are you? Yes, it does carry the risk of causing the same side effects, according to the FDA, which may also include nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. However, experiencing these side effects from the ear drops is far more rare, since very little is absorbed systemically. Is there anything else I can help with?

i am prescribed potassium chloride extended release tablets, 10 mEq K. the instructions say not to lie down for 30 minutes. why is this? ## Hello, Monica! How are you? The reason is because potassium tends to be very harsh, it usually increases stomach acid production and, if you lay down within half an hour, you may experience reflux which could cause damage to your esophagus. near mayfair pa, need dr who prescribes Adderall and controlled substances klonopin. frankfor ave known to prescribe adderall ## Hello, Monica! How are you? If you require such medications on a long-term ongoing basis, due to the new restrictions set forth last year by the DEA, you'll need to see a specialist. A general practice physician won't be able to prescribe them for you. Thus, you'll need to see a psychiatrist. According to the FDA, all of the listed medications carry the risk of being habit forming and nay cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, insomnia and weight loss. Additionally, since Adderall and Klonopin tend to counteract each other in action, many doctors will be reluctant to prescribe both. Do you currently have a PCP that might be able ...

I'm sorry about what you're experiencing. Can you please describe your symptoms in more detail? Could a person just be allergic to the clavulanic acid that is combined with amoxicillin but be fine with just straight amoxicillin? ## Hello, Monica! How are you? Yes, that is possible, just like some people are allergic to the Naloxone in Suboxone and not the Buprenorphine. I have been gaining weight and I have an IUD MIRENA in me and I don't know what to do. Is there any possible way for me to not gain weight???? #PLEASEHELPME ## Hello, Monica! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. No, but generally hormonal contraceptives only cause a gain of about 10 pounds. The only thing you can really do is eat a healthy, balanced diet and make sure that you get lots of proper exercise. How much have you gained? Other side effects may include nausea, headache, acne, irritability, PMS-like symptoms and breakthrough bleeding.

I found a pink and cream colored capsule with a rx or hourglass looking symbol and 311 over 50 imprint I need to know what this is if anyone could help. Thanks ## Hi monica, I haven't come across an exact match to your pill yet, but I did find out that Teva Pharmaceuticals puts an hourglass symbol on some of their pills (i.e. two small triangles facing one another). A good example of what I'm describing the hour glass symbol to look like is portrayed in a 50mg orange Cyclosporine capsule. If you google that maybe it'll give you an idea of who the manufacturer is... Does anyone else recognize this pill as something made by Teva?

I'm almost completely well from my cough and doubt I will need it more then one or two more times. Can I have a glass or two of wine with dinner? ## Hello, Monica! How are you? It's really not advisable to mix alcohol with a narcotic, in this case the Hydrocodone. Both of them can cause depression of the central nervous system, which could put you in danger. Learn more Hydrocodone details here. If you're not going to need it too much longer, it would be safest to just wait it out and have your wine after you've finished your course of treatment. Is there anything else I can help with?

taking Pur-Bloka 10mg 3 imes a day. as part of my anti-depression medication. i am expenriencing extreme tiredness. does this get any better or should i ask for another type of medication. ## Hello, Monica! How are you? Since this contains the active ingredient Propranolol, which lowers heart rate and blood pressure, it might be causing yours to drop too low. Have you checked your blood pressure or heart rate, while you're feeling that way? This just might not be the right medication for you and you may need to switch to something else. ## Thank you Verwon. I have now reduced it to 1 tablet twice daily and feel much better. I will however monitor my blood pressure from now on. Thanks for the advise.

Since I am on Medical only I had to change Primary Doctor 3 times because they just don't prescribe Norco for me even I am on this Drug over 4 months now and this is the kind I am able to tolerate.I live in Santa Monica is any Stigma about this drug or what I have no medication I called my Insurrance 3 times what can I do? ## Norco contains the active ingredients Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone and the latter is a narcotic opiate, so it can be habit forming and addictive. Therefore, many doctors are reluctant to prescribe it for long-term use and, in addition, doctor hopping to try to get someone to prescribe it may give the impression that you are a drug seeker and make them even more reluctant to do so. Why did you call your insurance?
