Looking for the cost of this drug and is covered under your drug card plan. ## My insurance is ignoring my doctors prescribing pro vigil then modafinil (generic) for 1 in am and 1 at afternoon if needed! I had 2 refills for 2 months, and only refilled for 30 pills, instead of 60 as prescribed! I asked pharmacy how much the 30 pills they denied me would cost if I would pay since I had a month before I had an appointment with my psychiatrist. Hi There - I filled my Provigil prescription but received NAMFIL 200 instead. Searching around does not reveal much except that it is manufactured by a company called Naman Pharma Drugs. My specialist wants to prescribe me Modafinil for narcolepsy and I'm doing some research into it and its effects. A lot of stuff online says you can't have alcohol if you've taken it. Wondering if anyone has real-world experience of this? Do you need to be as careful as it makes out? Is that an overcautious warning due to lack of research or is it true and it's bye bye Friday night wine? ## I have a friend who takes Provigil and he didn’t stop drinking socially. I would be careful though, I take adderall and I know that it can sometimes keep me from “feeling” the effects of alcohol even though it definitely is affecting me, so maybe that’s the concern? I would ask your doctor though. ## I lost control faster when drinking on modafinil. ## Here...

I get my prescription from Walmart but I hope it's not being manufactured in China. ## The MedsChat drug information page on Modafinil notes that it's a product originating from India. However I'm seeing that there are a multitude of brand names stemming from a variety of other countries as well. A full list can be viewed here: Modafinil Details. Can Hydrocodone and Modafinil be taken together? ## Hi Fred, Based on my research there are no drug interactions found between Hydrocodone and Modafinil. This does not necessarily mean no interactions exist, but my sources state that every effort has been made to ensure that the information provided is accurate. In conclusion, these two medications are regarded as being safe to take together and shouldn't present any problems outside of the normal side effects associated with each medication. I hope this helps to answer your question! ## What about Oxycodone (Roxycodone--I should say, without Tylenol) and Modafinil combined? I am taking them both for three years and haven't had a problem. Is this used for treating a cough from leukemia? ## You can see the page on Provigil for more information about this medicine... ## I personally tried this drug and I feel no doping effect after taking it. On the contrary, I felt energized and more focused. This is in contradiction with the World Anti-Doping Agency which prohibits the use of Modafinil. Actually, FDA approved the use and intake of Modafinil as a drug that enhances wakefulness, mental energy and focus. ## I have recently been given a generic brand of provigil that is football shaped and has 200 MG on one side and APO on the other. The label has APTX2 as the manufacturer. I have been taking modafinil for quite a few years for chronic fatigue and hyposomnia. This brand is not even close to being worth taking. I'm curiou...

I have major depression, which is only one out of 4 Mental Health diagnoses I have that disabled me since 1985. The major depression is resistant to treatment. I have been on so many combinations of anti-depressant, anti-psychotic and mood stabilizers that my Psychiatrists in the past and the one I go to now, did not know what to do. About 5 years ago, as a last resort, I was put on Provigil as a way to help me get motivated and not be depresses. I now take high doses of Modafinil, and my AST blood level for my liver is 40 (should be 10-35, and my ALT is 134 (should be 6-40. My Psychiatrist, PCP, and I have agreed that in my case, where I could do nothing for myself, had countless suicide attempts, and hardly ever got out of bed, quality of life is a priority--not quantity of life. I wa...

I was given a prescription for Nuvigil, then Provigil, and my Insurance denied both of them. My Doctor prescribed it for Treatment Resistant Depression, which is Depression that has failed to be controlled by many (for me about 20) combinations of anti-depressants and then anti-psychotics and anti-depressants. Also, treatment failed for me by having 4 Electro Shock Treatments and then a Vagus Nerve Stimulator implanted in my neck to send waves to my brain to help the depression. I was still not functional. The doctor said to look into ordering Modafinil overseas. I called the FDA and was told this was legal as long as my Doctor had it documented in my records. I found a place and when I started treatment on Modafinil, my depression was lifted to the point where I was able to do things f...

I've been taking Modafinil for a couple of years (100 mg a day) but in the last two months instead of feeling better when running I feel dizzy and irritable. My legs get tired and every couple of miles I have to stop. Considering that I've been running in the heat I probably shouldn't take it when the temperature is fairly high. Last year I didn't have these kind of problems. Any suggestions coming from your own experience? Thanks!

Hello I am looking for a free trial of modafinil thank you ## Hello, Greg! How are you? I'm sorry, but this website does not manufacture, prescribe nor sell any medications, it is an information only website, so there are no coupons available here. Additionally, since that is a generic, there most likely wouldn't be any coupon offers available for it, anyway. Has your doctor prescribed it?

I recently started Modafinil 200mg 1x day. I've been taking it in the morning to treat my exhaustion from idiopathic hypersomnia. It has been wonderful... however, the last three days I have noticed around late afternoon I begin to feel a bit off. My head slightly hurts, my body feels a bit overstimulated, as if I'm not sure if I want to go lay down or go run a lap, but I definitely can't stand the thought of talking to people anymore. I'm also slightly dizzy. Not head spinning dizzy, but just feel a bit off kilter. Has anyone else experienced something like this? Could this possibly be the effects of the drug wearing off toward the end of the day? I might cut them in half and take one half in the morning and one half at noon like my doctor suggested to help ease me into...
