I need a new doctor in Mobile,Al to prescribe me Alprazolam, which I've been on for 3 years.I have all my medical records.I'm having very bad panic attacks at night & can't sleep because of the bad dreams I'm having. Thanks ## The best way to go about this is to actually make an appointment with a new doctor and make sure to take all of your records with you. If you call and try to ask if they'll prescribe any particular medication, then they'll likely see that as drug seeking behavior and you won't even be able to get in the door. This is to bring your noticed that I am suffering from severed abdominal discomfort caused by mobile infection. I use to feel mobile mass at the surround of my abdomen. The movement covers both left and right abdomen. The movement have tendency to move up to my chest and my spin too. I was scanned but the scientists remarked normal examination. My condition is gradually worsen. Rgrds. Adam. ## Can you please post back with more details, such as how it was feeling? Did you try anything to remedy the issue? Are you on any medications? What does your normal diet consist of? While I know it can be scary, the NIH does list one possibility as being nothing more than gas bubbles. Do you find yourself belching a lot? Or emitting a lot of flatulence? Have you ever had heart burn, or stomach acid...

hello, I have.been on methadone for ten years and allergic to suboxone so I need to find a Dr. that writes for methadone for painccan't afford clinic anymore. ## Hello, Kim! How are you? I'm sorry, but if you've been going to an addiction/maintenance clinic, then that is your only option. It is illegal for regular doctors to prescribe it for that. Even if you need it for pain, the fact that you went to the clinic is in your medical records, so no one will be able to prescribe Methadone for you. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. What are you allergic to in Suboxone? Have you ever tried Subutex? ## Thanks for ur reply and I have talked to two d...

My doctor no longer practices and I need my Xanax and narcos. My son age 2 years 3 days old drown in a pool and I had a bad car wreck resulting in major surgeries with pins, rods and screws in my hand and foot. Please help me find a new doctor. Thanks. ## Hello, Amanda! How are you? I am so sorry about that you've been through, that's so tragic. Due to the new directives that were set forth by the DEA last year, you'll most likely need to see specialists to have such medications prescribed, so you'd need a psychiatrist and someone for pain management. Most general practitioners are no longer comfortable prescribing controlled substances. I think you would likely benefit greatly from a psychiatrist, since they do counseling, as well. The FDA classifies Xanax as a benzodia...

I am moving to Mobile in two months. I am trying to find a cronic pain management doctor that will continue to prescribe me 180 30mg Oxycodone. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. ## Unfortunately, there is no listing of doctors that I can refer to for you according to what they will or will not prescribe. Additionally, if you call around and ask if they'll prescribe such a medication, most doctors will view that as drug seeking behavior and not even let you get in the door. What you'll actually need to do is get yourself set up with a new PCP in your new area, then see if they can refer you to a pain specialist. That would likely be the quickest way to get the help you need. Does anyone know of a good doctor in that area? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the po...

I am new here and looking for a doctor who will continue prescribing me the Xanax I am already taking. Any help is greatly appreciated. ## Hi, Butter! How are you? I am not familiar with doctors in Mobile, since I've never been there, but I can offer you some advice that may help. If you call a new doctor asking if they'll prescribe a medication like this, since Xanax can be habit forming and isn't life sustaining, both they and their staff will view that as being drug seeking behavior, so they'll usually just tell you that they don't prescribe it and won't let you get in the door for an appointment. Thus, the best approach for those that legitimately need such a medication is to make an appointment with a new doctor and just make sure that they are sent a full c...

I've been on xanax for 3 years & my doctor left his practice. I need a new doctor just to keep me on my medication. I have all of my Doctor's medical records. Thanks ## Personally, I think if you suffer from anxiety/depression and need a Benzodiazepine class medication (like Xanax), usually your best bet is to see a psychiatrist, rather than a regular medical doctor. Reason being, is that they are better trained in the types of medications that handle these problems and can also help you treat the underlying cause of your anxiety or depression, as opposed to covering up the feelings and emotions with medication; unless you decide that you're ok with only treating the symptoms for as long as they persist... I'm stating this based on personal experience with severe dep...

Anyone know a doctor that will prescribe pain medication in Mobile Alabama? Suffer from severe arthritis and neck and back problems. ## HI, Daisy! Sorry that you're in pain. Since you're in Alabama, the best suggestion I can make is that find yourself a regular, general practitioner and then discuss the issue with them, so they can refer you for pain management. Basically the area of the U.S. from Iowa, Arkansas and etc. over to the east have all been hit with a ton of new regulations for the prescribing of pain medications, due to the heavy rates of improper and over prescribing that were going on. Under these new regulations, general practitioners are restricted in what they are allowed to prescribe for pain and how long they can prescribe it, so most patients requiring strong...

I am a 16 year old girl and have hyper mobile joints (google it) which often causes a lot of pain. Along with exercise, my doctor had suggested I take proxym 300 whenever I have severe pains. I take it about thrice or sometimes five times as month. Is it harmful? And what can increased dosage cause? ## This medication is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that is most commonly used to treat pain, fever and swelling. The U.S. FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation. However, complications usually only occur, when someone takes high doses for a long period of time, occasionally use isn't generally considered dangerous, as long as your doctor is monitoring you regularly and you know to contact...

I moved to the Yulee/Fernandina Beach area from Mobile, AL. I need to find a new PC & who's "willing" to prescribe Adderall. I went to one PCP, based on a recommendation, and was treated as though I'm a junkie - I'm a 46 y/o professional. She had my full medical records, and still requested "evidence." She prescribed focalin, which is costing me $257! Insurance only pays on reimbursement level. Took one pill & felt dizzy and nauseous the whole day. Insurance also won't cover "medication checks." I can get a referral to a psychiatrist, but, again, expensive. ## Did you ever find a doctor that worked out for you? I also recently moved to Nassau county and paying to see a psychiatrist. It's costing me a boat load of money every month.

I have MS for over twenty years. I must say I have been blessed I have been very active and mobile for most of those years, I took avonex for ten years. The first five or six were very good I stayed very active, just had few flu like symptoms at first. The next five or so years things changed gradually started going down. The medication wasn't doing me any good anymore. I went for a year or so doing nothing and I wasn't better but I wasn't that much worse. I was so excited to hear bout amprya. Just like everyone else my expectations were high. I have taken Ampyra for about 3 months. First month and a half notice some good change in my energy and coordination, although I had insomnia, when I did sleep had horrible, bizarre dreams. I was dealing with that, but now I am having ...

I was in a bad accident back in March of 2012, I was on a snow machine ( mobile for who call it that) and was hit by a large SUV. I had a shattered pelvis, broken hip and broken femur. I've found that the qualitest 5/325 white pills with red specks work best for me compared to other brands, but of late I've had to take more to feel a relief. I'm wondering if they make the same type just stronger. I don't know if it's the red specks they use in them that makes it different with others. I also just moved and am worried my new state won't have that brand even if I can't get a raised dose with my next doctor. I hate taking so many, wish I didn't have to take them at all to be honest. I have tried to go my normal route and stop taking them to lower my need for...

Keragro is terrible on many levels. 1. 99.9% customer service reps are rude as hell 2. The mobile website doesn't contain all the info 3. The product doesn't really even work. & 4. They clearly aren't satisfying their customers. I had tried to cancel 3 times within the 14 day trial & was told I couldn't till I physically received the product. I was charged the $87 today. When I called the lacy who took my call initially was rude, insulted me, called me a liar & wouldn't even let me explain the situation. She hung up on me. When I called back the gentleman I spoke to was that 0.01%. He was very nice refunded me a partial amount & let me explain everything. But nonetheless it seems like the amount of bad reviews this company (if you can call it that) ge...

Okay guys, I need some feedback and fast. I am only 25 and I have severe TMJ I live in Mobile, AL and because my condition is so severe I have to go to Birmingham (5 hours away) to see a doctor that is qualified to handle it. Because of Alabama Drug laws. A doctor in a different city has to have seen you to prescribe you Narcotic pain medication. I was going to Birmingham about once every 2-3 weeks to get my prescriptions filled but that was getting costly so my doctor referred me to a Pain Management Specialist here. Without even looking at my MRIs or surgery history he put me on Suboxone, and told me it was a strong pain medication. I took it for about 3 weeks then went to see my Oral surgeon in Birm. He was furious he told me that Suboxone was for people with a dependancy problem and...

Is there something in addition to pills that I can do to help me with Parkinsons? I am 79 years old and I am mobile, fairly clear of mind, stiff in my joints, loosing my balance and falling occasionally. I am presently using my cane to stabilize myself. ## As far as natural or alternative options go, I would highly recommend any or all of the following treatments: -supplement with Vitamin B12 (especially in the form of Methylcolbalamin) -supplement with Magnesium -detox the body of heavy metals -low fat diet -more fruits and veggies in the diet -staying hydrated (peeing clear all day) -supplement with Co-enzyme Q10 200mg+ per day -supplement with Vitamin C and E in generous doses. I hope this helps! Raw fruits and leafy greens are the best medicine in my honest opinion. ## Was diagnosed...

I have been using vicodin for 2 years prescribed by the same Doctor. It is the only thing that keeps me mobile and active with a better quality of life. Everyone in my family and everyone who I work with know I've been using this and comment on how much better I'm walking (I have a bad limp in my right leg). I have not abused the prescription, I signed a Pain Management Contract, get it from only one pharmacy and have followed all of the rules. I have never gone over the allowed dose of 1 to 2 tabs a day as needed - 7.5-300. In April a UA was done and it came back negative which is absolutely impossible but because of this I have been dismissed from the pain management contract I've tried reaching out to a few pain management doctors to no avail. I feel like a criminal for a...

I've had RA for 20yrs. I've tried just about every therapy on the market and for the past two years have been on a combination of Leflunamide, Hydroxychloroquine, Prednisone and Hydrocodone. I'm doing okay, I'm mobile and the only joint damage I have is in my wrists. What I wouldn't give to find one drug that does it all and toss these out. Has anyone had success with using Kineret as the only drug for managing their RA?
