please let me kow of any interactions with alcohol and keppra ## yes, alcohol is a bad mixture with this medication. I would advise you to really think that through. I ended up in the emergency room 2 months ago because I had a break through seizure due to alcohol. ## Keppra contains the active ingredient Levetiracetam and is an anticonvulsant medication. That said, it is never a good idea to mix alcohol with prescription medications. Not only can it reduce the effectiveness of some, as Sarah discovered, but it can also aggravate the side effects. Some of the most common side effects of this medication include: nausea, hair loss, headache and depression. You can read more about this medication here: Is there anything else I can help you with?

my wifes in pain due to siotic nerve and herniated disc. shes has a bad reaction to opiates, like instant withdrawl, tramidol, not working, cabapentin , not working. 2ml suboxone, works on pain, bad reaction. question is does the whatever ingredient in cabapentin and suboxone clash? ## She may be allergic to opiates period, I am not a doctor, but I can tell you what my doctor gave me that made me able to tolerate opiates..There was a medication way back in the 1960's until the usless vicodin became popular..It was called synalgos DC and it consisted of dihydrocodeine (Sythetic codeine) aspirin, and promethazine to take away the allergic reaction of the opiate..It's not very popular anymore because of vicodin, but you can get it by having it compounded (Walgreens compounds medicat...

Can Canex T cream be mixed with Persivate cream and sunblock to be as a cream to remove dark acne marks on the face? ## Hi Pinky, Cantex T contains the active ingredient Clotrimazole, which is an antifungal medication commonly used in the treatment of fungal infections (of both humans and other animals) such as vaginal yeast infections, oral thrush, and ringworm. It is also used to treat athlete's foot and jock itch. Side effects include: skin rash, hives, blistering, burning, itching, peeling, redness, stinging, swelling, or other sign of skin irritation. I wouldn't recommend putting this cream on your face unless you have been instructed to do so by a doctor. Also, I'm not sure if Canex T or Persivate (betamethasone) cream will help with dark spots, were you prescribed eit...

Hi, I was prescribed fluoxetine to help with Menopausal problems about six months ago. I'm only on a very low dose and they've really helped with my mood. In fact so much so that the happier I am in myself the more I fear death. I suffered with post natal depression with both of my boys and occasionally had an intense fear of dying. I wouldn't say I spend loads of time thinking about it but more than normal I imagine. Does anyone else feel like this? I'm very content with my life and family and logically I know that I shouldn't give it time, life's too short to worry about something you can do nothing about but I can't seem to help it. I'm wondering if I should try and "face it" and think about it more or try and ignore it and carry on being happy...

My wife suffers from MS. She works at a local hospital and i`ve found she has tablets she has `borrowed` tucked away at home. She has codein, diazapam and oxazapam. None of these are prescribed for her. I`m worried she is taking tablets she shouldn`t be. Should I confront her? ## @Jason, In my honest opinion I think it would be best for you to confront her. To have such a random assortment of anti-anxiety and pain meds makes no sense unless you're wanting to try them all out or are selling/delivering them. No one just "borrows" pills to look at them. I mean this is your wife that you're speaking of, so she shouldn't have anything to hide from you. Trust is everything in a committed relationship. ## David, Thanks for reply, I'm watching the number of each she has ...

There was a cream that was applied to the buttocks area for a patient who had thin skin. It worked wonders on her. How do I get this cream? ## Hello, Janie! How are you? Unfortunately, I can't say. The ingredients can vary from area to area. It is something that is specially ordered by the patient's doctor using FDA approved medications. It is made by a compounding pharmacy, according to the prescribing instructions of the doctor. Some will include topical pain medications, nerve medications, antibiotics, steroids, and etc. It is entirely up to the doctor, the patient's condition, and their response/reactions to various medications. Were there any details on the label? If so, you might be able to ask your doctor about prescribing something similar.

Adipex contains the active ingredient Phentermine, it is a stimulant medication used to aid in weight loss. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, nervousness, insomnia and elevated heart rate. Is there anything else I can help with?

I want to know. If I take a 30 mg morphine a 7.5 oxycodone and a hydocodo/acetamin 7.5 650 mg can give me a bad reaction or would I just feel pain relief? ## You could kill yourself by doing that, I DO NOT recommend it!!!!!!! Best plan is to get on a pain management schedule with just ONE of the drugs you mentioned since if you are on the right dosage you should feel proper pain relief. Hope this helps and good luck!

What goes into it? It's a green liquid, nasty taste, compounded from a pharmacy. ## What are the green lizard ingredients for indigestion? ## Green lizard is a compound prescription. It is a mixture of Lidocaine, Maalox, and Donnatal. My doctor prescribed it for pain in my esophagus and stomach. Hope this helps! ## And can u get these ingredients over the counter for Green Lizard mix? ## When I got my latest prescription for green lizzard (which is my salvation) the pharmacist called to tell me that it was going to cost $750.00 because the price of the Donnatal had gone up. So I had them leave out the Donnatal and only mix the Malox and Lidocaine. It's obviously not as efficient. I recd 90 day supply of omeprezol. I noticed that they were pills not capsules. I looked up pill number. The medication in the bottle was OXYCODONE 5 mg/ acetomeniphen 325! This is seriously dangerous! Someone could have died! Pills were in sealed bottle marked.Sandoz. what to do? ## Contact the pharmacy and your local board of pharmacy. ## Wow, what a massive mix up that was! Omeprazole (used for excess acidity) being replaced with Oxycodone. That really could be life threatening for someone without a tolerance to opiates! Events like this just go to show that even "medical professionals" can and sometimes do make even the most serious of mistakes. I read somewhere that I could pre mix Miralax in the morning for Colonoscopy prep day and leave the mixture in the fridge all day so I didn't have to take time to mix when I get home from work. So I did, then I had to reschedule my procedure before I got home from work for 3 days later. Would the mixture still be good? Or do I need to buy more? ## As per the manufacturer's instructions - "Do not mix the MiraLAX earlier than the morning before your procedure." They don't go on to mention any particular reason why (which I find odd - and perhaps that information should be questioned), but for now it sounds like your best bet would be to start fresh and then follow protocol again. Additional feedback from other patients on how to prepare for the colonoscopy can also be ...

The pill is round, white with an "M" on one side and 034 on the other. Is this Metformin and who is the manufacturer? Thank you. ## The closest match I'm finding to your description, is a white round pill marked with "M" on one side and "34" on the other; minus the "0". It's identified as Anastrozole 1 mg. Manufacturer: Mylan Pharmaceuticals Inc. National Drug Code (NDC): 00378-6034 Anastrozole is used to treat breast cancer after surgery and for metastases in both pre and post-menopausal women. Anastrozole is an aromatase inhibitor, which means that it interrupts a critical step in the body's synthesis of estrogen. Some breast cancer cells require estrogen to grow, and eliminating estrogen suppresses their growth. Does this sound like a possi...
