Good luck. #NWATC is a methadone treatment center in Bessemer Alabama. NWATC is a medicaid provider. If you are interested in finding out more about this treatment facility please call 205-425-1200. 1 REPLY Filed under SuboxoneOld college football players. Both Knees messed up plus terrible headaches. Need some type of pain meds. Local doctors give me a 30 day supply only. ## Hello, Larry! How are you? A 30 day supply is all that any doctor can give you at once due to government regulations. They are required to have you in for a checkup each month and to write a new prescription if the medication is a controlled substance. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I am also a retired football player. What is the first thing I need to do to get into a good doctor? ## I got fired from my doctor cause Klonopin was not in my drug panel and the doctor just two months ago wrote on my script to take as needed and was supposed to write me 2 months of my oxycodone but fired me. I have been on them for 15 years or lo...
3 REPLIES Filed under OxycodoneI need a pain management doctor in Mississippi that will write my pain meds! I have oxycodone 30 and methadone 10 on my pharm print out. If anyone knows of a dr, please let me know, I don't need both meds, just one or the other! Please help ASAP!! ## Do you have a current doctor that you see regularly? Because you are most likely going to need a referral to pain management. Under the new laws that went into effect at the beginning of the year, regular doctors aren't going to be allowed to prescribe such medications for long-term usage. Learn more pain management details here. Except for certain limited exceptions, they will only be allowed to prescribe them for short-term use, such as for a few weeks after someone has had surgery or been injured. ## Dr Robert van Coleman in Flor...
3 REPLIES Filed under OxycodoneMy pain management doctor has gone MIA (Dr. William Knight, Metairie, Louisiana). He has gone- there's no trouble reported to Louisiana Medical Board. Just gone. The 3 months worth of prescriptions he wrote me for Norco & MS Contin are almost gone too. I can't find a new pain dr. here (on the Mississippi Coast or New Orleans) who will take my Obamacare OR even take cash-pay patients. Additionally, I take a (low) dose of Xanax prescribed by the psychiatrist I began seeing with the onset of my chronic pain (bicycle crash). So, benzos, too. :-( Is there a doctor who will treat me in this new culture of pain medicine? I am really afraid. I am in my late fifties. ## Liz, I'm so sorry to hear of your predicament. Sadly,Even under ideal circumstances the concurrent use of benzo...

4 REPLIES Filed under Oxycodonei moved to bilixi a few months ago. i detoxed from methadone using suboxone. finally found a doctor now i need to fill the prescription ## Hello, Reeree! How are you? Have you tried asking your doctor? They may know who in the area can fill it for you, there might even be a specific pharmacy that they recommend for their patients. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. If you've been trying to find a pharmacy on your own, you should be made aware that you can't call them to ask about such a medication. They have no way of knowing if the person on the phone is a legitimate patient with a need, or a potential thief, so they will usually just tell you th...
2 REPLIES Filed under MethadoneI have had 3back surgeries a broken hip i have been diagnosed with severe ostoeporosis and have severe pain ## Unfortunately, no one can know ahead of time what a doctor is or is not willing to prescribe, as that is based on the doctor's discretion and not solely on someone else's previous appointment. Have you tried contacting any local pain doctor's to see if they are accepting new patients? If you have trouble finding a doctor nearby, you can use the links below to find out which doctors are in your area: wellness.com/find/pain%20management%20specialist {link removed because site no longer exists} I hope this helps your search! I also have fused vertabrea in my low back and have not been given anything for the the constant pain. I work in the medical feel and have worked in this field or 28 years. What can I do t get the medication I need? ## Anyone requiring controlled substances on a long-term ongoing basis for the treatment of chronic pain, regardless of what it be from, will have to see a pain management specialist, due to the new regulations that were put in place by the DEA last year. You can also put mississippi medicaid AND suboxone physicians in your search bar. But, be sure and call and ask if a certain dr does accepts Mississippi Medicaid for treating patients with suboxone. ## Hello, Susan! How are you? 1 REPLY Filed under SuboxoneCan a mspain management Doctor in mississippi prescribe more than one hundred oxycodone along with nintey morphine one hundred mg. ## Hello, Troy! How are you? Actually, under the new DEA directives, they are requested to limit patients to no more than the equivalent of 120mgs of Morphine a day, some states have lowered that even further to no more than the equivalent of 100mgs of Morphine a day. The only exceptions are supposed to be for those that have a potentially fatal illness, such as stage 4 cancer. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Thus, you're actually among the rare people that are still being prescribed such h...
2 REPLIES Filed under OxycodoneLooking for a Dr. in Jackson Mississippi that will prescribe Belviq. ## I got mine from My OBGYN, Dr. Jennifer Shea Moses with Southern Women's Health Group. The are located in the Suites next to River Oaks Hospital off of Lakeland Dr. She is tough though. Your BMI HAS to be 30% or higher. I started out with adipex but had horrible side effects, but I had lost weight while on it. My BMI was just below 30% and she wouldn't give the Belviq to me (until I begged and pleaded). Plus she is an awesome doctor to have. Keep in mind that if your insurance does not pay for it, you will be paying about $250 for a month's supply.
1 REPLY Filed under BelviqNeed pain doc in Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi or Arkansas? One who Is willing to help you. ## Hello, Lucygirl! How are you? Due to the new directives set forth by the DEA that involve prescribing restrictions, you'll need to see a doctor that is located in the same state you live in. Do you currently have a PCP that might be able to refer you to someone? If so, that might be the quickest and easiest way to find the help you need. Which state do you live in? This information would enable someone to recommend a good doctor for you, if they know of one.
1 REPLYI live in north Mississippi and looking fffor a Dr. that will write for pain and nerve medicine ## Hello, Timbo! How are you? I'm sorry, but there is no database of doctors according to who will or will not prescribe anything that I can refer to for you. Additionally, with the new regulations that were put in place this year, you'll most likely need to see two different specialists for such medications to be prescribed. Do you currently have a PCP that you see regularly that could refer you to someone? If so, that would most likely be the easiest and quickest way to get the help you need.
1 REPLYWhere in Mississippi or Alabama or Florida can I fill a script from my doctor in Houston for Oxycodone? ## I need Help! I was seeing a doctor for a few years who gave me Suboxone, buprenaphrine, Paxil, Klonopin and trazadone. Unfortunately he had to go to prison and I miss him. I found a new doctor asap because these medications are physically addictive. I found a Suboxone doctor she is nice but made me pick between Suboxone and buprenaphrine. The reason I took this combination was because when I take 2 Suboxone a day, my heart beats fast, I get anxiety and I already have an anxiety disorder! She didn't care so I picked Suboxone since buprenaphrine doesn't have a blocker in it. At first she helped me by giving me prescriptions for Paxil, klonopin and Suboxone. I have been on klo...
