Spiriva (tiotropium) is an anticholinergic agent. It works by enlarging the airways to allow easier breathing. It comes as a capsule containing dry powder, which is inhaled through the mouth using the HandiHaler device. Spiriva is used to prevent bronchospasm (narrowing of the airways in the lungs) in people with bronchitis, emphysema, or COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease). Found these in my daughters purse, two of them in a baggie that shows a piece of paper made in china, cant be correct wrapper but looks sort of like a over sized tums and tastes sort of minty. I licked the back to see if it tasted medicine like or what I got, minty/tingly ## This is a generic antacid like Tums. I got a roll of these when i was at the airport and had heart burn. They are minty and they do work. ## My research leads me to believe that Guardian Drug Company may be the manufacturer of these pills [hence the letter 'G'], seeing as they make OTC mint flavored Tums, Rolaids and Mylanta tablets.
