Mild Narcotic Pain Medication

QI am looking for a good mild/moderate narcotic for break through pain . I am allready on hydro/norco 10/325 and it only las about 3-4 hours and thenn wears off. Any sugestions. Three bad dis in neck and fibromyagia with severe migranies i think being put out of me out misery would be better lol. ## Hi vonda, Based on your description, I get the sense that you may want to ask your doctor about trying an extended release pain medication, for something that lasts a lot longer than 3-4 hours. A few different options in that category are: AVINZA capsules are a modified-release formulation of morphine sulfate indicated for once daily administration for the relief of moderate to severe MS CONTIN (another variation of morphine sulfate) is an opioid agonist product indicated for the management ......

mild luminal irregularities

I had my angiogram done and my Dr said it was normal with minor luminal irregularities. EF 50-55%. I'm on aspirin 100mg, amlodipine 2.5mg, atorvastatin 10mg, metformin 250mg TDS. Plus I'm allergic to NSAID's. After the angiogram I also developed hematoma on my right hand, showing acute obstruction (length 5cm) with retograde flow. Please advise. ## The mild luminal irregularities mean that you may be developing heart disease. The NIH lists the typical side effects of these medications as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and joint/muscle aches. What caused the hematoma? How are they treating it?...

Mild headaches on eliquis

Have been taking this for a couple of weeks after inr levels failed to fall within requirement following PE post surgery. I'm noticing a mild headache, is this a "normal" side effect? Not excruciating, vision not affected, not dizzy. Thank you! ## Yes, headaches can be a normal side effect of this medication, as reported the U.S. FDA. You may also experience nausea, increased risk of bleeding, and easy bruising. Is there anything else I can help with?...

mild LAD irregularities and The mid to distal LAD appears small with diffuse mild irregularities

I had angiogram and above comments were in my results. However do not know what they mean. Please advise Thankyou ## Hello, Shannon! How are you? It is basically considered having a mild form of heart disease, you have some mild irregularities, but nothing immediately dangerous, as explained by the NIH. However, if you don't take care of your health and eat properly, while getting exercise, it could get worse and lead to heart failure or a heart attack. Did your doctor put you on any medications or make any recommendations?...

Three bad dis in neck and fibromyagia with severe migranies i think being put out of me out misery would be better lol. ## Hi Vonda, I'm sorry to hear about what you're going through. I personally don't have much experience with narcotic pain medications, but it sounds like you may want to speak with your doctor about trying an extended release narcotic pain medication such as Opana ER (ER stands for extended release), Oxycontin, or Morphine ER. Also, I do know from personal experience that exercise can really benefit those with fibromyalgia. My father has fibromyalgia and whenever he starts back on ......

I had a cardiac Cath and the summary says LM minimal luminary irregularities LED minimal luminal irregularities lcx minimal luminar irregularities RCA minimum irregularities and LV mild Global hypokinesis EF 50% elevated lvedp what does this mean ## Hello, Debbie! How are you? Did your doctor not explain anything? To keep it simple, luminal irregularities refers to changes due to atherosclerotic plaque, the word minimal refers to how much there is, in this case, they didn't see a significant amount, but there is some, so lifestyle and dietary changes may be needed to prevent future worsening. The LV mild Global hypokinesis EF 50% elevated lvedp refers to the injection fraction of your left ventricle. Generally a rate of 50% or lower means that your heart pumping as good as it should......

Tramadol Mild and Severe Side Effects

What are all the side effects, mild and severe, of Tramadol? ## Deborah, Tramadol has been very effective for pain and has the least side effects of most of the other pain meds. I've had chronic pain, spinal surgery, plates and screws and more - the point is that it gives pretty good coverage for severe pain. You might be aware of skin problems like itching and possibly hives. Does not seem to cause the drowsiness and fog some of the other pain meds can. Thinking and reaction time seems good. Careful stopping abruptly - if so flu like symptoms and really sleepy. Hope this helps. ## The FDA lists the common side effects of Tramadol as possibly including nausea, dizziness, constipation, dry mouth, and headache. Severe side effects may include shallow breathing, loss of consciousness, ......
