Newbie here. ## hi, as far as i know if you are using micropil, the 1 week pill-free is the time you will have your menstrual period. So, i mean you don't want to have contact if you have your period. hope this will help. ## There is no harm in having intercourse during your period, other than a possible mess. As long as you have been taking it as instructed, there should not be any risk of pregnancy, according the NIH. Side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, and PMS-like symptoms. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have been bleeding 3 weeks on the 1st week of January. My ob prescribed me Micropil plus to thicken my uterus lining. It's my 11th day taking the pill. Since then, I have been having pain in my lower back and at my uterus. Hi I read in the packet that micropil (for first time users) should be taken on the 5th day of your menstruation, (if your cycle is more than 24 days) taking the 5th pill; however, I’d like to know, how about in the next packets? Should I always start with the 5th pill in the packet still or that’s only for the first time? Thank you

Im taking micropill 7 days before may period. Pero ngayon wala pa din menstration ko. I have a friend whose been using micropil for almost 5 years already. They decided (as a couple) to stop taking it (Just this month) and still waiting for her period to come. Is there a possibility that her period will get delay, like for how long? ## I've been taking micropil for over a year now. The side effects are really visible to me like i am suffering intense headache almost everyday and i am obviously gaining weight. My hubby noticed it so he told me to quit taking the pills so that's what i did. I already took 5 out of 21 tablets i discontinued using the pill.
