My sister stolen my last 2 fentynol patches. After 2 days I started going thru severe withdrawal. The cold sweats, muscle spasms, diarrhea, palpitations and then throw up. A friend gave me a Zubsolv, 5.7. I broke it in fourths and put it under my tounge. With a few minutes my withdrawal symptoms were gone. I have 2 days to go before I get my patches, and I only have that one pill. Will I be able to feel my patch when I put it on? I don't want the high, just block my pain. Will the fentynol still work for my pain? If not how long after taking Zubsolv will it be before my patch works for my pain? ## Unless your doctor instructs otherwise, you need to wait at least 3 days, before the Fentanyl will work, again. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the po...

My mother, a long term parkinsons sufferer, recently went into hospital as she had been off her food and needed building up. She was prescribed Permax 50 micrograms three times daily along with her regular Sinimet. By mistake she was given 500 milligrams three times daily for a week before it was spotted by the pharmacist. She suffered hallucinations, drowsiness to the point of being totally out of it and seizures. The hospital are saying that that overdose would not have caused her to deteriorate to the extent that we were called in as they were not expecting her to last the afternoon. I am not convinced by this, has anyone got a comment to make as she is still extremely unwell and not expected to leave hospital. ## I am so sorry to hear about how bad your mom is because of the hospita...

Hello. I'm on Methotrexate for my Rheumatoid Arthritis and my Dr writes me two 2mg of folic acid to reduce the side effects. I ran out of my script because my Pharmacy ran out and has not gotten them in yet. This has been over a week. I'm experiencing side effects and bought otc folic acid. The highest dose is 450 micrograms. How many of the microgram pills do i need to take to make 4 milligrams? Please help me. The worst side effects are blisters on my face that pop and make me look like I got burnt or pick my skin off, etc. ## Hello, Teresa, how are you doing? It takes 1,000 micrograms to equal 1mg, so you'd need 4,000 micrograms to equal the 4mgs. That 8.888_ tablets at the 450 microgram dosage. However, before taking that many, you should double check with your doctor, o...

How long does it take to leave the system? 1 x 25mg tablet once a day for one week? ## According to the drug half-life calculator here on MedsChat, Diethylpropion has an estimated half-life of 5 hours. Based on the chart linked below, a 25mg dose would (theoretically) be out of your system within an average of 3-5 days [if not, at the very least present in trace milligrams/micrograms): Diethylpropion HalfLife As disclosed in the half-life calculator, there are many other variables that could affect the accuracy of the charts; but I hope this at least helps provide a ball-park figure.

Pill ## Sorry, I can't find anything under that name, could you please double check the spelling? ## I am trying to figure out whether there is a cheaper substitute for Deplin (l-methylfolate). it is not listed on the canada drug site where I buy my meds. ## Can you get deplin? or a generic for it? Need prescription? If so, why, just a vitamin? ## Deplin L-methylfolate contains 7.5 mg (milligrams) of L-methylfolate. There is various stuff with L-methylfolate, where each tablet contains 400, 800 or sometimes 100 MICROgrams of L-methylfolate. One microgram is one-thousands of one milligram, thus one tablet of Deplin contains 7500 mcg. ## I was given Enfolast Tabs as a generic for Deplin ## I'm curious what ailment people are using Deplin or generic. My doctor prescribed it for har...

I was put on a T3 compound of 15 micrograms twice a day and Synthroid. I ended up having about four to five incidents where I had severe stomache cramping and then violent vomiting and a month or two after starting the meds. I did ask my Dr. about it and he said he did not know what that would be from and ordered a food allergy test, which came back fine. I did not feel like the Dr. cared and I did not want to continue having those incidents so I stopped taking the meds. I have not had any of those incidents since but of course I am having all the super sucky symptoms that required the meds in the first place so now I am trying to figure out on my own how I can fix this. Has anyone else experienced this? If so how was it fixed? Why would this happen? Is this a side effect of the T3 or S...

CAN METHADONE AND MORPHINE BE MIXED, IS IT SAFE AND WHAT SIDE EFFECTS DOE'S IT HAVE ? ## Different narcotics are often used together, to help someone get better pain control, however you do have to be careful of the dosage that is used. Concomitant use can result in an increased risk of central nervous system depression, which can result in lowered breathing rate, lowered heart rate and lowered blood pressure. Has your doctor prescribed them both? ## Would buprenorphine sublingual tablets 200 microgram help wiv methodone withdrawals? ## hey july the bup should help the withdrawals for at least 2 days, its long acting really but they come in 2, 4, 8 and 16 mg pills I think so I don't know how you got the 200 mcg dosage but let me know how it goes...

Hello, I have been taking Euthyrox 50 microgram pills daily for about 12 years now. Recently, I found out that the manufacturer is changing the lactose in this medicine to mannitol, which has some side effects, with the most alarming one being congestive heart failure. I have atrial fibrillation and am very worried about this issue. My question is: does this side effect only relate to large doses of mannitol? My Euthyrox pill is so light that I cannot even weigh it.

Is 270mgs a lot more than137mgs ## Hello, John! How are you? Synthroid is dosed in micrograms, not milligrams. But yes, that's almost twice the dosage. Has your doctor prescribed this amount? The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, weight changes and hair loss.

is 0.15 ug/ml lower than 0.05mg/l ## From what I've read, ug and mcg are both symbols for 'micrograms'. The correct symbol for microgram is actually µg. However, there is really no way of typing that on a keyboard, so it seems as though they came up with other versions, two of which are ug and mcg. The conversion below indicates that 0.15 mcg is much lower than 0.05 mg... Micrograms into Milligrams: 0.15 mcg = 0.00015 mg Milligrams into Micrograms: 0.05 mg = 50 mcg I hope this info helps to answer your question! ## Looks like the correct microgram symbol couldn't appear in your post (other than the letter g). I know which symbol you're referring to though. Thanks for the feedback!

I take Levothyroxin 100 mcg and replaced by Thyronorm 100 mg. is this comprable dosage and same effect? ## 1000 micrograms (mcg)= 1 milligram (mg) 100 mcg= .1 mg Since thyronorm and levothyroxine are one in the same medication (just different brand names), it becomes clear to me that levothyroxine 100mcg is a significantly smaller dose than thyronorm 100mg. That said, you will probably notice the difference in strength when switching to thyronorm. However I certainly wouldn't be able to tell you how this will effect you in comparison to your previous dosage, as everyone reacts to these medications differently. I hope this helps! ## Hi, I was on medication for hypothyroidism for 7 years.... Having Thyronorm 50mcg till now and with recent tests my doctor changed my medicine to levothy...

I ran out of synthroid. It shows 0.1MG. I got a temporary bottle that shows 100MCG. Are they the same? ## Hi Lucille, Conversion tools verify that 100mcg (micrograms) is actually equal to 0.1mg (milligrams), so you should have nothing to worry about as far as taking the correct dosage is concerned. If you were given the temporary bottle by another pharmacy, that could explain why they used a different measurement than you were used to seeing. I hope this helps! ## Do you have to eat when taking leverothryroxin? 0.1 mg ## Hi. I am taking methylcobalamin 500 MG inj. every two weeks, but when you convert mg to mcg you get very high numbers.
