Is there a lower dose than 100 mg of Prometrium? ## Hi Kathryn, From what I could gather, 100mg is the lowest dose available... I just read an article saying that Prometrium Capsules are available in multiple strengths to afford dosage flexibility for optimum management; however, these Prometrium Capsules are only noted to contain 100 mg or 200 mg micronized progesterone (Which tells me that they do not in-fact offer it in "multiple strengths"; but rather, just a couple unfortunately). I have ben taking Co Diovan for HBP for a year and a week ago was admited to the ICU for a ministroke and blood pressure over 200. I should be taking one bisoprolol fumarate 2.5mgm tablet daily and like Teva brand but pharmacist could not get that particular strength so has given me 1.25mgm to take two daily.I suffer bad side effects from most medication and have been very uncomfortable since taking lower strength tablets with full feeling in stomach followed by uncomfortable feeling in intestines.Is this because I am taking twice the am mound of " carrier"ingredients which cause most of my adverse side effects. ## @Beany You are not taking 2x the carrier ingredients.
