Im willing to travel some thanks for any help out there ## Hi linda, I may not have a doctor I can refer you to, but I can provide you with a couple links that may be of service to you in so far as locating pain management doctors within your general area... Input your city or zip code for narrowed results: {link removed because site no longer exists} wellness.com/find/pain%20management%20specialist I'd consider calling up a number of them to see if they are accepting new patients; as some aren't, but most usually are. I broke my neck in 2001 and have nerve damage. It took 5 or 6 years to finally find something that allowed me to work and function. My great dr. Of 17 yrs left his practice , now I can't find anyone to see me let alone prescribe me my medication. I have never abused my medication but I am left to fend for myself. Don't know what to do in northern michigan. ## Hello, Jason! How are you? Due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, if you require medications on a long-term ongoing basis for the treatment of chronic pain, you'll need to see a pain management specialist, a general practice doctor won't be able to prescribe it for you. As to finding a new doctor, you can't really approach it from looking for a doctor that will prescribe medications. Doctor...

Will any doctors prescribe the adipex longer than 3 months time in Michigan? I have read that in some states doctors will only prescribe for 90 days and then just cut you off. Is this true for Michigan or is it more related to the particular doctor who is prescribing the medication? Thank you kindly for any feedback!!

Any Michigan Doctors that prescribe clonazepam, klonopin, ativan, or xanax for severe anxiety and panick attacks??? ## Hi lo, If you suffer from anxiety and need a Benzodiazepine class medication (like Xanax), usually your best bet is to see a psychiatrist, rather than a regular medical doctor. Reason being is that they are better trained in the types of medications that handle these problems and many general physicians are reluctant to prescribe controlled substances due to abuse and the heavy regulations that they have to abide by from the government. If you do opt to see a regular medical doctor, some advice I can give you is to not specifically ask for any given medication right off the bat. Make sure to transfer or take a copy of all your medical records with you. Then, the best ap...

Im looking for a pain doc for my fibromyalga ## Hi Patrice, I have listed below a couple websites specific to locating pain management doctors in a given area. All you have to do is input your city or zip code for narrowed results: {link removed because site no longer exists} You can give this other page a try too if you come up with different results for some reason or another: wellness.com/find/pain%20management%20specialist Many of the results you find (in one or both of the links above) also list a phone number for that specific doctor; I'd consider calling up a number of them to see if they are accepting new patients; some aren't, but most usually are. I suffer from back and neck pain from 2 car accidents. I live in Michigan. I have always just dealt with the pain but as I get older the pain gets worse! I have been a labor worker for 20 yrs and now I work in an office with great insurance and benefits. I have an referral appointment at a pain management facility. Nothing over the counter works for me and have tried narcos, hydrocodone, oxcicodone, roxicodone is all that worked for me. Any advice on how to get one if these prescribed? ## Hello, Mickey! How are you? I am very sorry that you're in pain. Your really just need to see your PM specialist and be honest with them about your pain levels. You'll also need to cooperate with any tests and such that they want done. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be...

Is anyone else having problems finding a pharmacy to fill their scripts of Norco? I have been taking them for a few years now for my chronic pain. I always go to the same pharmacy chain, and its always the same doctor who writes my scripts, but since the new law change no one seems to have them in stock. Some pharmacists told me it was a manufacturer back order. We are told not to go without our meds, but yet how is that possible if we can't get them? Anyone knows of a pharmacy that has Norco 10/325 in the metro Detroit area? ## Dear Painfully Annoyed, Yes, this appears to be a huge problem at the moment. I have called every pharmacy in my insurance plan and everyone says the same thing. Your not alone, I was told it is a repackaging issue with the manufacturers due to the new laws....

Okay... so for quite a few years now (at least 3-4 consecutively) I've been having extremely debilitating panic attacks. So much so that not only have they raised the stress in my life so bad as to cause ulcers, but I've been hospitalized on more then 3 seperate occasions due to a severe anxiety disorder. I've tried many things, saught counceling, a therapist... was put on Celexa, Buspar, Wellbutrin, Diazepam.. (I'll not list everything, as the doctors had me jumping around for awhile.) However, Alprazolam and Clonozepam* are the only two 'anti-anxiety' meds that seem to work for me. As they onset quickly, I need something that response just as quickly. Unfortunately, I do not currently have insurance.. (At least not until the 1rst of Feb) And I'm seeking a d...

I'm also new to Farmington and need to find a doctor to refill my adderall. Could someone please help me? Thank you !!!' ## Hello, Rhodes76! How are you? Due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, you'll need to see a specialist, if you require such a medication on a long-term ongoing basis. PCPs can no longer prescribe them. The best thing to do would be to set yourself up with a new PCP and then have them refer you to someone. That would most likely be the fastest and easiest way to get the help you need. Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area? This mediation carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia, irritability and anorexia. ## This is not true! I need help finding a doctor in Michigan to prescribe me Methadone. Right now it is so hard and expensive, not to mention they are so hard to get they are around maybe once a month. I can't go to a clinic everyday does anyone know of a doctor that would prescribe by month or week? ## It sounds like you've been taking Methadone for some time now. Perhaps it's time you just stopped taking drugs?? Methadone doesn't need to be taken for a month to cure you of your addiction. My feelings are that you are now addicted to Methadone. That's probably why you have to buy it on the street. No doctor is going to pander to that. Get off the opiates - go through the withdrawals and get on with your life. (I did this myself before). ## It definitely sounds like you have a problem. ...
