Hello, I live in Miami, Fl with chronic Guilliane Barre that is demyelinating, aka CIDP (chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy). I've been taking Dilaudid for the pain, but can no longer find a pharmacy willing to fill it. I've been to all the big chains, Baptist hospital, mom and pops with no luck. Can anyone help me and let ne know if you know of any pharmacy that will fill Dilaudid for me please?

I just went to my pain management appointment, which I go to every month and have been told to find another office. My usual doctor had been on maternity leave since July this year, however she never returned. I had still been receiving my regularly prescribed meds by a nurse practitioner covering for her. Now on this most recent appointment, last week, there is a new pain intervention specialist that refuses to continue to prescribe narcotic pain meds. She said that she would start giving me inj's. next month, if not, I am to find another doctor. I have hemiplegia, right side from a failed neurostimulator implant, 3 cervical spine herniated disks and am in constant pain. So what the hell am I supposed to do now?

Except for certain rare exceptions, general practitioners and surgeons will only be able to prescribe pain medications for short-term use, such as for a few weeks after someone has had surgery, or been in an accident. Mine is pretty much a two-part question I was locked into a mom-and-pop pharmacy for over 4 years when suddenly they told me they can't fill my Roxicodone anymore because they don't get paid enough from my insurance company which has been the same all along so I got lucky and filled it at a Walgreens which just closed I was told my records would be sent to another Walgreens and I have been going from Walgreens to Walgreens to Walgreens and they are out of stock everywhere I'm in severe pain and I just don't know what to do does anybody have any ideas and does anybody know if a pharmacy can just stop like that and I also know for a fact that a person I referred there with the same insurance as mine is still filling them at that Pharmacy ## Yes, the pharmacy can do that, n...

I used to take (Sertraline) when i was in Miami, but now when i came home they dont have it here,, i found Lyrica and it was told that its the same ? i just need to know if it works like it or not ?? ## No, they don't work the same and are not interchangeable. Does anyone know where can I fill a prescription for 120 roxys (30mgs) in Miami or homestead? From what I am finding in my research the drug is primarily used in South America. Depending on where you go it can be considered either a prescription drug or an over the counter drug. Some other users have reported it being unavailable for long periods of time in Mexico while others in Panama say it's easily obtainable in convenience stores. My dad is a cancer patient and has been prescribed this medicine and cannot find it at any pharmacies in South Miami, Florida. We have been to them all . Can you help him find a pharmacy or give us any numbers to call? Thank you! ## I am so sorry that your dad is having trouble finding his medication, that's awful. However, there is a shortage right now, due to several reasons, so it may take awhile to find it. Has he contacted his doctor? They may be able to prescribe an alternative medication he could take in the meantime, or a different dosage.

I would like people to use this thread to make it known when Adderall becomes available again in their area. I live in Miami, and do not like having to go from pharmacy to pharmacy every day to find out if I can fill my prescription or if it is still "back ordered". Huge waste of time. ## Schedule II meds are delivered once a week. If you ask when they get their next order in, you would only have to go to the pharmacy once a week.

I have had my prescription for over four weeks now and have been everywhere from fort pierce to south stuart, few places in Miami called "greenwall pharmacy" and few cvs. I have heard every excuse in the book as to why they won't fill my rx. My doctor has insurance that I can get through mail order but I can't afford it. I have heard Gardens rx in west palm beach or Prescriptions by mail would fill it but I live in Martin county, my Dr. is in Fort lauderdale, so I basically need to find a pharmacy that won't price gouge $10 per until I can get the insurance.
