Amneal mfg, hydrcodone- apap 5-325 doesn't work as well as V 3604 or Watson 349- why? ## Hi Jane, I think I can help answer your question here. One of the primary factors that doesn't seem to be well known to the public, is that the FDA allows active ingredients in generic meds to vary by as much as 25% from the actual listed dosage. This could potentially mean that a 5mg hydrocodone may actually turn out to be 3 to 7 mgs depending on the manufacturer. Aside from that, subtle differences in the "inactive" ingredients (binders/fillers) could also impact the absorption/overall efficacy of the medication. ip204 just started last night n not working

Just started taking this one last night well after almost 2 hours no relief I'm on verge of losing it. Why must they always change mfg.? I gave a written agreement w pain management n have over 11 messed up discs. Just want relief. Then when I go through the month 1 type doesn't work it kills my thoracic Injury. 6 mm extrusion. Plz what works? Been over 5 years. Just got ins. Again n all meds changed was on norco n had same issues that's why changed only take 3 a day. Metformin HCL ER vs Metformin ER

Was taking Metformin HCL ER TABS 750mg by Teva. Got new insurance and they sent Metformin ER TAB 750mg by Watson. Are they the same? ## They are both the same medicaton, the HCL just stands for Hydrochloride, which designates the precise chemical salt the medication is derived from and wasn't included as an abbreviation on the second one from Watson.
