Exactly what is this antibiotic for and is it a broad spectrum antibiotic? I got it today for vaginal infection which I stuggle to get rid off. Is just 10 tablets, one twice a day, effective and enough? I also got ASPEN FLUCONAZOL 150 which is only one capsule. I want to make sure if this is a good choice of prescription for my problem please? ## Both the Fluconazole and the Metronidazole are antifungal medications, rather than regular antibiotics. I never took the metrnidazole only the amox. I have nearly finished the course and still have dirrheoa and tummy pains. I have some Augmentin 375 given for the original div. which I didn't like. If I take the Aug 375 with the metronidazole 400 will it be more effective than just the amox 500mg?

Ive been on sulfameth/trimethoprim for 3 days now 1pill every 12 hours until all gone.since taking the pills I have been urinating a lot 30mins apart im also taking metronidazole500MG both to treat a boil also bacteria infection. My Dr prescribed Adco-Metronida 400mg for me to take 1x3 and I just took my last dosage for the day. I then had a cup of coffee and I started vomiting. Does this mean that I can't consume coffee until the treatment is finished? ## Have you been taking them with food or on an empty stomach? My doctor prescribed that I take 1 tablet 3 times a day (the 400mg tablets) for my viral infection that I have had for the past 2.5 weeks. I took 3 adco metronida 400mg at the same time a week ago and now i'm feeling a bad headache and i can not see clearly. Could it be a side effect of adco metronida ## Those can be side effects of the medication, but usually they occur within a few hours of taking, according to NIH reports.
