Can you you use metronidazole gel and miconazole 1 at the same time ? Will they both still work the same ? ## Hello, Niq! How are you? As long as your doctor has prescribed them both. There are even some mediations that do combine an antibiotic with an antifungal, in case a doctor may not be sure which is causing a certain problem that a patient is having. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea and stomach pain. Is there anything else I can help with?

Has the patient's doctor been consulted? They should be able to help you find something that is appropriate to use for alleviating the pain.

I've been treated for rosacea but the cream that my dermatologist gave me did nothing. Can this work for me? I've been using the metro gel for four days now I have a reddish brown blood looking discharge with tiny looking clots that have no smell I have had my period already this month can you help me out what's wrong with me? ## That can happen, when you use the vaginal preparation, because it will sometimes irritate the cervix. My wife was suffering from gum problems. Dr gave her Metrogyl gel to apply to her gums. Now Metrogyl contains Ornidazole. After application for a day she complained of stomach pain. Can application of Ornidazole inside the mouth cause stomach pains? ## Metrogyl actually contains the active ingredient Metronidazole, it's similar to, but not the same as Ornidazole. And yes, it could cause stomach pain and nausea, because even applied topically to her gums, she is still going to swallow a slight amount of it. Has she consulted her dentist? I have moderate acne vulgaris. My dermatologist recommended me to use cindamicin phosphate at 7.00 am, metronidazole gel USP at 3:00pm and the mixture of tretin A and benzoyl peroxide at night. whether its from the sun or aging, lately I have deleloped a few bumps under my skin. They are not itchy or inflamed, just bumps of different sizes. I am on several meds and just tested positive via urine testing for Suboxone. I have never taken Suboxone can my other meds cause me to test positive for this drug?
