Hi I am 65 and have been on a fluid pill and 150 tab metoprolol succ er,Dr wants me to drop the fluid pill and go to 200 metoprolol,thats seems like a lot .is it//WHAT IS THE MAXIUIM AMOUNT WE CAN TAKE///?? laura ## For the extended release formulation, which is what you are taking, the maximum daily dosage can actually go as high as 400mgs. The regular release can go as high as 450mgs. However, an increase in dosage may cause you to experience more side effects, such as nausea, dizziness and headache. Is there anything else I can help with?

Recall on generic for Toprol XL Metotoprolol ER 50 mg manufacturer: PAR??

I currently take this medication and was told today that there might have been a recall on it. Anyone know any info on this? ## I have seen this information too, but I am not sure which manufacturers it applies to. White round pill with "m" over "100"

What is a round, white, scored tablet that has m over 100 on one side, and nothing on other side? Is this Metoprolol Succinate? ## A white round pill marked with “m” over “100” on one side and scored on the other, is in fact identified as Metoprolol Succinate ER. NDC: 00186-7302 (Discontinued) Manufacturer: Par Pharmaceuticals ## I am on the prescription Metoprolol ER 200 mg. I just refilled my script and noticed the pill to be a different size. I called the pharmacy and it was verified that I have the correct pills. The last bottle of this medicine was a rather large, football shape pill. I do not have any more of those, but am wondering if I was given the wrong pills last time. Does this medicine come in other shapes?
