generic name for metoclopramide
I have a oblong white pill in my medicine bottle that has a NO23 on it. I wanted to know what was a generic medicine name for metoclopramide since that seems to be whats in my medicine bottle. I also wanted to know is there anyway to know how many milligrams this pill is because it is a medicine that I haven't taken in a while that I still have some of. ## Metoclopramide is the generic name, it's a antiemetic and gastroprokinetic. What are the side effects from stopping does all together ## Metoclopramide is the active ingredient in Opram. Usually for drugs like this the safest way to stop taking them is to tapper off them, if possible. Some medications can be taken in fractions (actually cut into pieces) and these smaller pieces can be taken in place of the regular dose for a period of several weeks until the body is no longer dependent upon them.
