Is there any sub. for this pill? l-methylfolate w/b6-b12 tablets I am on SS and do not have extra money. My med. d provider does not list this medicine, so I have to pay for it. ## Hello, Cliff! How are you? I'm sorry, but what you've listed is a generic, so it's already cheaper by its very nature and there are no assistant programs for it. However, if you look towards the right of the pages on this site, you'll see a link to a printable pharmacy discount card. It's free to sign up for and may help you save some money on it. Does anyone else have any ideas? The FDA states that some people experience nausea, when taking this supplement, since it's pretty potent.

Taking L-Methyfolate for depression..800 mcg. daily...How much of it would be equivalent to Delphin 7.5 mg? ## Hello, From what I could gather, Delphin is listed as being another brand name for L-Methyfolate. However, to answer your question about converting the dosage, 800mcg is reportedly equivalent to 0.8mg. This means that you would essentially have to multiply your 800mcg dose roughly nine and a half times in order to reach 7.6mgs... just a tad less and you should be at 7.5mg in that respect. Do you find that it really helps with your depression?

My doctor wrote me a script for Deplin. L-methylfolate. The first day I took it along with my effexor, I felt so sleepy and couldn't do anything because of it. I would just fall asleep . That night of the day I took the pill I went to bed around 10:30 PM and didn't wake up until 4:30 the next evening. I had 3 messages on my phone from my daughter that was getting worried about me. I just woke up at exactly 4:30 PM the next day. I was suppose to go pick up the rest of my medicines but it closed at 5:00 PM. The day I felt like that really felt good since I haven't been sleeping very well at night. I would try and try to go to sleep and couldn't . I am so tired of being so slowed down then what I use to be. I'm not lazy , I just don't have the unction to function. D...

Are methylcobalamin, l-methylfolate calcium & pyridoxal-5-phosphate tablets good for your pregnancy or not? Because 1 month back when we consulted a doctor she suggested us to use these for 3 months daily (1 tablet). ## These are just nutritional supplements that are often given to help ensure you take in enough of these vital nutrients for your health, as well as the health of your baby. Has anyone taken Deplin? Is the side effects harsh? ## Deplin contains the active ingredient "L-methylfolate"; which is actually considered to be a vitamin. Apparently L-methylfolate, the active form of the vitamin, folate, is the only folate that can be taken up by the brain where it helps balance the chemical messengers that affect mood (serotonin, norepinephrine and dopamine). I think the information quoted below can help answer your question concerning side effects: "Folic acid is LIKELY SAFE for most people. Most adults do not experience any side effects when consuming the recommended amount each day, which is 400 mcg. High doses of folic acid might cause abdominal cramps, diarrhea, rash, sleep disorders, irritability, confusion, nausea, stomach upset, behavior changes,...
