rarthritis ## New drug I am taking and want to know more!DR ## I started taking it in May of 2007 also. I can only tell you what I have gathered through reading and talking with my Rheumatoloist. According to the literature with the prescription and on line it is indicated in treating certain cancers and rheumatoid conditions. If in doubt why it is being prescribed for you and what to expect, watch for and how it is intended to hopefully help you talk to your doctor. If your doctor doesn't want to take the time to make sure your questions are answered find a new one! I take it for Spondylarthropy. My doctor explained that it is intended to poison the bone marrow. Which in turn would lower my white cell count which is hoped to, also in turn, to slow down the inflamation. There are si...

As to foods that are high in it, they include shellfish, beef liver, mackerel, fortified cereals, crab, red meats, low-fat dairy products, cheese and chicken eggs. Is there anything else I can help with?
