Methocarbamol Or Flexeril

I have been on Flexeril 10 mg, 3x a day. Even taking all 3 at once does not help at all. Dr switched me to methocarbamol 750 mg. Is this going to work better than the Flexeril? Any help is much appreciated. ## It is stronger, so it may work better for you, but the only way to find out is by trying it to see. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?

Robaxin 500mg compaired to Flexeril 10mg, are they considered the same strength or which one is stronger? ## Robaxin contains the active ingredient Methocarbamol and Flexeril contains Cyclobenzaprine. The Flexeril is generally much more mild, so 10mgs of it would not be equal to the 800mg dosage of Robaxin. Have you been switched from one to the other? ## soma vs. flexeril, WITCH IS STRONGER ## got it and thanks ## I was given Robaxin for my rotar cuff shoulder. I had problems with Robaxin. I was dizzness, my blood pressure was unbalance. ## Yes, I have been on flexeril 10 mg for 12 years not working so doctor put me on robaxin 750 mg. Seems to be working for me for now I can take 2 at a time but I feel 1 is working. ## I'm on 500MG methocarbamol and its useless, like basic vitamins...

can i give my cocker spaniel cyclobenzaprine for muscle spasms? she is having very bad muscle spasms in her abdomen area and her back. ## Hi Kim, From what I could gather, Cyclobenzaprine is not regularly used in veterinary medicine. I'm not sure why that is, but for this reason I'd encourage you to take her to your nearest vet and have her checked out in person, so she can receive the right kind of care or treatment that will nurse her back to health. Other comments I've read, took care to mentioned that Methocarbamol was generally the muscle relaxant of choice for use in dogs and cats. Perhaps you can ask your vet about that option as well. I hope this helps! ## From what I have read, many online sites by LAYMEN States that one should not give cyclobenzaprine (Flexeril) to...

Just wanted to know what this is used for ## I'm sorry, but I can't find anything listed under this name. Did you mean Flexeril, which is a muscle relaxant? ## I find my hubby using them and I am curious ## I have found that Flexim also goes by the names Methocarbamol and Robaxin. Methocarbamol is a central muscle relaxant used to treat skeletal muscle spasms. Under the trade name Robaxin, it is marketed by Actient Pharmaceuticals in the United States and Pfizer in Canada.

I've tried every other muscle relaxer Tizanidine / (trade names Zanaflex, Sirdalud) Methocarbamol / trade name Robaxin/ Baclofen (brand names Kemstro, Lioresal, Liofen, Gablofen, Beklo and Baclosan) Cyclobenzaprine, brand names Amrix, Flexeril and Fexmid all of these have adverse side effects for me and virtually no muscle relaxer efficacy= they don't work well or really not at all side effects, headaches, dizziness, lots more soma / Carisoprodol however worked very well, and I had to take small amounts so that side effects were able to be kept at a minimum when soma / Carisoprodol began from what I've heard to gain a little popularity with druggies. doctors quit prescribing it, and authorities, the powers that be, began to council doctors against prescribing it I was not ab...

I recently became very dependent on Norco for my chronic back pain. I'm withdrawing now so I can go see a pain specialist (finally!) I want to make sure u can get on (if per dr request) meds that won't take me down this road again. Withdrawal is hard as hell. However it important to note I have been rx'ed Methocarbamol and Flexeril, which I both cant take bc they don't do anything but knock me out... I'm sure the Dr will answer these for me soon depending in the diagnosis but just wanted some feedback re: other pain meds (no over counter, those are like candy pills for my pain). ## Dependence can happen with anything that you take on a regular basis for a long period of time and some withdrawal effects will occur, if you stop taking it abruptly. Some, of course, are ...

Want to know what this drug is equal to in a more familiar name. ## Cyclobenzaprine is Flexeril. ## @Thomas, No two drugs are "equal" in my opinion, because they also contain different binders and fillers, different half-lives (i.e. some lasting longer than others), different release rates (i.e. how quickly it affects you), etc.. So when you ask about an equal substitute, the best I can do is point you in the direction of different brand names of Cyclobenzaprine... Karen named 1 of them, and two others I'm aware of are Amrix and Fexmid. There are also various medications within the same drug classification as Cyclobenzaprine; known as muscle relaxers. A few drug names in this category are as follows: Methocarbamol, Carisoprodol, Metaxalone, Orphenadrine, Chlorzoxazone, and D...
