my dr just put me on methadone hcl 5-325 for a 3 level back fusion and was wondering if this causes bad heartburn? I have been on the methadone program for 12 years on 80 to 90 mil a day. Need to know if there are. Any side effect to take nuvigel while on methadone prescribed to both but by two different doctors. I would like to know if anyone knows the effects of mixing Methadone with Hydocodone? I want to know any effects that Mehadone 5 mg has on the body. I took it two nights and made me ill. ## Methadone is a synthetic opioid; a few of its common side effects are: Hypoventilation, Constipation, Constricted pupils, Nausea, Low blood pressure, Hallucination Headache, Vomiting, Cardiac arrhythmia, and Anorexia. I am on methadone maintenance & I am taiking chantix to quit smoking. When I first take the chantix in the a.m. I am disoriented and extremely anxious. these are not things that I experience taking methadone. Hi I have tried dopamine drugs, Pramipexole & so on. now Gabapentin & my symptoms are coming back in addition to side effects of this drug.
