If you need it for addiction or maintenance treatment, then you'll have to go to a Methadone clinic. If you require it for pain, then you'll need to see a pain management specialist. Which are you looking for? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Recently I tried the suboxone program which helped to a degree, but meds were way to expensive as well as the Drs appointment. Is anyone living in Alabama getting pill cuts of methadone? My doctor told me it was because of Governor Bentley signing in new opiate restriction for all pain doctors. (Not Clinics). Please help ## Methadone Clinics do not treat chronic pain. And there is a difference between physical dependance from taking it for a long time, as with chronic pain, and the criteria used when evaluating someone for methadone maintance due to addiction, If you're able to find a dr that will treat you, they will need to get a copy of your medical records from your last dr. You didn't say why your last dr refuses to treat you. But depending of the reason, it may be almost impossible to find a dr to treat you like you have been in the past.

I take anxiety meds too but he wants me to stop. I really need the anxiety meds but he wants me off them.
