They will not give take homes when you first start to go to the clinic. You have to prove yourself over a period of time to get take homes. Both pills contain 10 mg of Methadone hydrochloride. Neither of these are extended release or stronger than the other. I can argue though that there is an article on a study done here in the states, where cancer patients were randomly assigned to receive methadone 7.5 mg orally every 12 hours for 4 weeks. So I do believe it is available, but maybe only prescribed under specific circumstances. I could be wrong, but as of yet I have not come across anything stating otherwise.
