My son was on oral methadone for 3 years. He got arrested and was in rehab for 5 weeks. During that time he detoxed from the methadone. When he got out he was clean for a year then one morning his son found him dead. Wife said it was a methadone overdose and they wrote it off as suicide. There was no drug paraphernalia at the scene and none in his stomach. Just what he had for supper. No stomach flush was done on him. I have researched this for four years and am currently trying to get murder charges pressed against two people that have admitted to others they did it. There were no other drugs in his body and from what I have read and researched being injected with the amount he was on and detoxed from would have killed him. The Pathologist said he wouldn't have time to even remove ...

Received a methergine shot after delivery for hemorrhaging, never got much breast milk. Is it because of this? ## Hello, Kate! How are you? Congrats on the baby! And yes, it can cause that in some women, generally it is advised to avoid breast feeding for at least 12 hours after the last dose. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thank you he is a joy! Did you have the methergine yourself? Most lactation consultants seem to know little about it. I struggled to breastfeed, and I was always just told that the methergine would be out of my system by now. I don't know if it had long term effects on me bc it was introduced before my milk even “came in".

I was on Enbrel ten years ago with pleasant results. Then Humana Insurance stopped paying for it and I went on Methretrexate for several years. As I aged it seemed my rheumatoid arthritis got worse so doctor put me on Remicade which I had to obtain financial assistance for. Five years of wonderful help on disease, my funding ended and doctor put me back on Enbrel with new insurance company. Enbrel had a program that helped me financially and I received my first shipment last Friday. Followed directions for new version of giving a needle. I had no trouble with old system of physically injecting needle myself. This tubular, self contained needle and medicine required concentrated action on my part and I did all the directions said. When it came to pressing the purple tab on top, my arthri...

The Methadone is the pink liquid. I've taken about 60-100mg daily fo 2 to 2.5 years. I now have circulation problems, numbness & swelling in hands and wrist people think it sounds like carpal tunnel. Thanks for any help and solutions. ## Have you seen a doctor for a diagnosis? Carpal Tunnel is not caused by medications, it is a repetitive motion injury to the wrist. Chronic use and/or abuse of narcotics, including Methadone, can result in health problems, including circulatory issues. It can also cause joint problems that are very similar to arthritis, which is why some of them should not be given to people with joint pain and issues. ## Or Arthritis or even nerve damage. ## Methadone is NOT meant to be injected! As percnicious anemia is chronic, what are the side effects in the long run, as I will be taking it for the rest of my life. I have just stated using methotrexate injections for RA after using tablets which gave me mouth ulcers and nausea. Have also used Arava and other RA meds without success . I am also on occasional predisalone as I gain too much weight and am a type 1 diabetic and blood sugars go up considerably. I also take 300mg of plaquenil each day for my arthritis. I would like to know how others are coping with the methotrexate, results and side effects??? ## We are all different, so Methotrexate works great for some people, but not for all, thus, the only way to see if it will help you is by actually trying it according to your doctor's instructions. The FDA warns that it may cause side effects, such as dizziness, headache, chills/fever, hair loss, and light sensitivity. Ref: Methotrexate Infor...

Has anyone had issues after receiving a spinal epidural injection (Epidural Steroid Injection or ESI) for their back and/or sciatic pain? ## Hello Dennis, I was doing some research on the National Institute of Health's website and I was going to provide you with a list of side effects but the list is so ridiculously long that I feel like it would be overbearing. So instead of doing that I want to ask you what side effects you are experiencing and I will read through the list myself and see if I can find that specific section and give you the answers your asking. I am also taking 1 mg Glimpiride & 500 mg Metaformin HCI extended release tab in the morning & same in the evening also. Will taking Nurokind Plus injection give me relief from the pains?
