Thanks ## Letting your blood sugar levels continue out of control can cause far more serious complications than diarrhea. How long have you been taking the Metformin? Diarrhea can be a side effects, along with nausea and flatulence, but normally these should hit their peak at around 4 to 6 weeks of use and then start to taper off in severity. can i use tab.Metformin for weight reduction? i wanted to know the side effects of Metformin ## I wouldn't count on using an anti-diabetic drug for weight loss. Your best bet is a healthy change in eating habits and regular exercise. A pill won't lose the weight for you. Sorry to sound blunt, but it would be ignorant to think otherwise. Metformin Hcl 500 Mg does it +up to 1000er

Is two 500 hcl metformin the same as 1000 er ## Hi tam, Not entirely. While the dosage certainly adds up to 1000mg, there is still a big difference between immediate release formulas and extended (time-released) formulas. The time-released tablets are more geared towards 24 hour - around the clock pain relief; while the standard immediate release tabs are said to be more ideal for short term pain management patients. Whether you take 500mg or 1000mg of Metformin, the time-release effect will always outlast the immediate release effect in terms of longer pain relief (although some patients claim the immediate release formula to have a stronger effect, since it hits you all at once, per say). I hope this explanation helps! ## Only if they are also time released, since you listed ER by the... ...
