White oval shaped tablet. The number 93 on one side and the number 48 on the other. What is it? I found it on the floor of my husband's den. ## White oval tablet with the imprint 93 48 is Metformin HCI 500 mg, generic for Glucophage. This is for type 2 diabetes.

white oblongwith 48 on one side and 93 on the other side ## This drug is suppose to be for Metformin 500MG it is a Large white oblong with 48 on one side and 93 on the other side no other writing is on this pill. I have searched Dr Watson's website for information. I went to Teva Pharm because I thought it was something they make and in the product information it is not there. I am a diabetic, but before I take a generic drug I would like to know a little something about it first.
