I have not had sugar problem before. But this time the blood test showed 5.5 sugar level and 21 insulin level. What is the difference between metformin hcl tab 500mg 93/48 and metformin 500mg tab sandoz? ## Only the manufacturer, just made by a different company. The Sandoz tablets were, or course, made by Sandoz Pharmaceuticals, the ones marked 93 48 are made by Teva Pharmaceuticals.
