I took a Metformin ER 500mg today for the first time but I cut it in half because I didn't know that I wasn't supposed to. I took the first half and then saw that I was supposed to take it whole so I took the other half. The one that says Teva is made by Teva Pharmaceuticals and the Ratio one is manufactured by RatioPharm. Otherwise, it is the same medication, in the same dosage.
