Hi , My boyfriend 33 is taking metaprolol, he is experiencing hard time with ED, we have narrowed it down to blaming the meds, What should we do, he had open heart murmurs and we are afraid to just stop it ## Hello, Zee! How are you? Yes, it could be due to the Metoprolol, most of the blood pressure/cardiac medications can cause ER, along with nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach pain. However, no he can't just stop it, cold turkey. Doing so could cause a rebound effect that may put his life in danger. He will need to see his doctor to replace it with a different medication. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I too getting ED since day one I started on this medication. How can I recover from this problem? ## Hello, Ajay! Which is better, met xl 50 (metaprolol succinate) or tellzy 80 (telmisartan)? My father has been suffering from diabetes, hypertension and ckd, and his blood creatinine level is 3.9. Which medicine is suitable for my father? ## Which one has his doctor advised him to take? They are both effective at controlling high blood pressure and some cardiac conditions, but no medication works for everyone that tries it. The U.S. FDA lists their typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. It is really just a matter of finding which medication works for each individual.

Since on beta blockers, atenolo or metaprolol my vision is blurry. Cannot concentrate, very frustrated. ## Hi Ashley, Sorry to hear about your situation. Ref: Atenolol Side Effects / Metoprolol Side Effects However if it doesn't seem to go away on its own, you may need to contact your doctor as soon as possible in order to find out if you should still continue taking them as prescribed or opt for something else altogether. Unfortunately when it comes to these types of medications there's really no way to know ahead of time how it'll end up affecting you in the long run. But I'd just encourage you to keep an o...

is side effect itching and rashes ## No, those aren't normal side effects. Have you consulted your doctor? Metoprolol is a beta blocker, so what you may be experiencing are some circulatory issues that it may be causing. Thus, it may not be the right medication for you and you should discuss it with your doctor. ## Is Metaprol Tar 100mg by Ranbaxy the same as Metoprolol Tar 100mg by Teva?

Forskolin, a highly touted weight loss supplement, can it be taken with amlodipine, losartan and atenol? desperately need to lose weight. ## Amlodipine is prescribed 5mg as maximum dose once a day only. Losaratan is BP drug as also atenolol. These two are prescribed twice daily as single or combination drugs.. atenolol is an old prescription. Now the most recent are Carvedilol, metaprolol and all such drugs ending with 'lol'. ## @BJ, Concerning drug interactions with Forskolin, I think this is something that you may need to take up with your doctor, since drug interaction checkers don't compare pharmaceutical discrepancies with natural herbal extracts. However, information I'm finding on the other three medications (amlodipine, atenolol and losartan) goes on to note that...
