Metalor Xr 25
3 Topics FoundI am a patient of Hypertension with dystolic dysfunction. My dystolic B P never goes below 85. I am taking Metolar-XR50 for last five year. My systolic BP is controlled with this medicine but Dystolic B P is unchanged. Recently I started taking amlodepine 25 in addition to the Metalor XR50. Is it safe for me I am 46 Year of age.

Pl inform whether both are same or have differet salts ? ## Dr has prescribed 'Metoar XL 25 mg' but Chemist 'Newton Medical Devices, Phase 6, Mohali has given Metoler XR 25. Pl inform whether both are same or have different salts ? ## It is okay, both the XL and the XR designate it was being a time released medication, so they are the same. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination and hypotension. Are there any other questions? ## What is max dose of METALOR ...

My BP is 140/100 even after taking Metalor XR 25 twice a day. Systoli is controlled but not the diastolic. Pls advise
