Met Xl 50 Used For

I started using MET XL 50 MG AFTER ANGIOPLASTY AT 8 AM IN THE MORNING. IN THE BEGINGING ONE MONTH MY BP USED TO BE 110/70. THE MEDICINE WAS USED ALONG WITH CLOPITAB, NITRACT AND ECHOSPRIN. RECENTLY I OBSERVED MY BP TO BE GOING UP IN SPITE OF THE USAGE OF THE DRUG AND IT GOES TO 95/155 BY EVENING 6 PM EVEN THOUGH I AM STILL TAKING THE DRUG IN THE MORNING. THE DCOTOR ASKED ME TO REPEAT THE DOSAGE IN THE EVENING ALOS. AFTER TAKING THE EVENING DOSAGE BY 10 PM THE BP COMES BACK TO 120/78. HEART RATE IS SAME THROUGHOUT THE DAY BETWEEN 58 TO 70. DOES MET XL AFTER USAGE FOR SOME TIME LOOSE ITS EFFICIENCY? WHY AFTER ONE MONTH THE BP WENT UP? I have undergone CABG surgery in December, 2011. I was prescribed MT XL 50 and i was using the same every day since December, 2011. I am a patient of hypothyriodism and using Eltroxin 10 MG tablets every day. I came to know MET XL will also work for hyper thyriodism. Since i am using medication for hypothyriodism, whether i can take MET XL 50 tablet. kindly advise me.

Does this medicine cause constipation my Dr has prescribed laxative. Is it safe? ## From what I can find, this contains Metooprolol and Amlodipine, it is used to help control blood pressure. treatment details of metpure xl50;functions and uses ## my doctor advise to me to take WINBP-AM20/5 at 8 am and another one Met XL 50mg at 8 pm why should i can use these two tablets, my bp is 160/110 for 2 days and 130/88 another day like this. if any difficulty to take Met XL 50mg at night time

What is Metocard XL actually meant for? Sometimes, I feel pain and discomfort on the left side of the chest near the heart, which is very irritating. My doctor have me taking 1/2 tablet Metoprol XL 50mg 1 time of day for 15 days what am i using this tablet for ## Metoprolol is a beta blocker that has several medical uses, such as treating high blood pressure, certain cardiac conditions and to help protect the kidneys. My husband is having problems with no for the past couple of months.. He has hypertension ranging from 170/110 to 150/90...he was given metoprolol 25 by the doc .. But yesterday he started feeling very restless towards the evening and was sweating badly and there was uneasiness in the body .. Are there any side effects for this drug ?? I had angioplasty done two years ago. The doctor put me on Met XL R 25/2.5 and Prolomet AM 50 for my bp. I also take Ecosprin AV 75 regularly. My bp levels r in the range 120-140 n 75-90...
