I have been taking Meperidine 50 mg 381-b for years. Recently my pharmist switched to Meperidine 50 mg 4171-v and I do ot think it is as effective . He says it is exactly the same. Also, lately I found one of the "old" pills (381-b) and it was far more effective then the new ones. Is this a pain medication called Roxy? My cousin took one an it made him feel funny and then went to sleep. It was supposed to be for pain for his back not sleep. Did he take something else?
