My husband has been on lyrica almost two years. We thought it was wonderful as it let him live without pain.I did notice he couldn't find his words more and more frequently and his eye sight was getting worse but thought it all was due to age. Then about two weeks ago he became very confused and can't find things. The doc says he has altered mental status but not alzhiemers as it happened too fast. He has not had a stroke and has had many tests which showed him to be healthy. I am sure now that it is the lyrica. How long will the side effects last, does any body know. We see the doc tomorrow. I have cut back his dose but am afraid to stop it altogether till I see the doc. This has been a horrible experience for both of us. ## While I was taking this I could not go anywhere by mysel...
