Is there a difference between 7.5 MG Tab zyd And just 7.5 MG? ## Hi Teresa, Based on my research, "zyd" apparently stands for the manufacturer (Zydus Pharmaceuticals USA) and should correspond with a National Drug Code of 68382-050. I guess on some labels pharmacies feel the need to include the name/abbreviation of the company who makes it, as a secondary means of reference.. Especially since so many people are now coming to terms with the fact that certain manufacturers produce better quality meds than others. I hope this info helps!

I scraped glue off a floor for several days and night and my hands and fingers are so swollen and very painful . ## Merry Christmas Joyce, Sorry to hear about the pain in your hands and fingers. Scraping glue off a floor for several days/nights sounds like it would do that to just about anyone though. But I hope you're able to find some level of relief from taking the meloxicam. ## I am having problems when I started taking this drug, now that i am off it it has left severe back problem in which i need help out of bed every morning. ## The problem could actually be caused by your stopping the drug abruptly. Since it reduces inflammation, it might have been reducing it in an area of your spine where you have damage or swelling and then by stopping it, your body is unprepared to regulate that condition on its on, kind of a withdrawal effect, and the pain and inflammation has gotten worse. I would recommend speaking to your doctor so they can check out the problem and see exactly what is causing it.

I took 15 mg of meloxicam 17 hours ago for arthritis in my knee it now very painful and swollen can I take one Motrin now ## Hello, Teri! How are you? No, you shouldn't take Motrin with the Mobic, because they are both nonsteroidal anti-inflammatories that treat the same conditions and, as listed by the FDA, they could cause some serious side effects, such as stomach ulceration, liver damage, liver failure and increased risk of bleeding. If the Meloxicam isn't helping, it would be best to consult your doctor to see what your other options might be. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thank you Verwon for your response.
