I take synthroid but I feel very tired all the time. We checked by blood & my dosage is fine. I also started meloxicam a few months ago. I thought it worked pretty well. But now I am wondering if my tiredness could be from the meloxicam. If I think back I started feeling this way about 2 months ago & started the meloxicam about 4 months ago. Would advil or the like be better for me? I have been taking Mobic 15MG for 10 days and I can't tell its helping me at all with my inflammation in my back and neck, plus I have a pinched nerve. How long does it take to start working on this? Also I have been taking a prescribed dosage of Potassium Chloride 10MEQ (what it says on the prescription bottle) but been on the Potassium for a few years. Is this a bad combo? I have been on meloxicam 7.5 for 10 days - one tablet a day for pain in my shoulders and back. On the 8th day I had blurred vision and watery eyes. My doctor diagnosed me with RA October 2011 and prescribed Meloxicam 15mg. I asked for the bloodwork to show my pain doctor and was told by his PA that my bloodwork does not show I have RA. I am in complete shock!!! 1st, why would he do this and 2nd, will taking this for all these years without having RA cause issues? I have Vasculitis and Lupus, therefore, I take a combination of the meds I listed, I have scripts for those required and OTC for the benadryl (200mg.sometimes more if needed during the night) and Aleve (440mg when needed). I supposedly tested positive for Fetanyl and Xanax on my first drug screen at my first appt. She says I wasn't under her care previously and she is not discharging me but I did not do either substances EVER. My pm doc prescribes Percocet 7.5 mg 3x a day. I also take Gabapentin, Zoloft, Buspar and Meloxicam and occasionally Trazodone and Flexeril. Not daily for those.
