I too had my RX medication refilled (again) at Walgreens, but this time (When I did not take my RX Tylenol with it, like I always do) I noticed, that I have been given a different Brand of medication (A Generic Brand/MFG by-ACTAVIS). My "Norco-Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen 5-325/TB" did not work as prescribed or even when I took 3 pills at one time (because 1 nor 2 pills didn't work/relieve my pain). I believe I have been given FAKE NORCO/Hydrocodone pills (white/#2172 on them) from Walgreens Pharmacy. Today I contacted the DEA & FDA via email and requested that they investigate my complaint as soon as possible. ## Hi Lisa, Sorry to hear about your experience with these new 2172 hydrocodone/acetaminophen tabs. There are actually several discussion threads here on MedsChat co...

I take a combination of medications for the pain in my legs. I take for 100 mg Nucynta a day plus a combination of others. How does this work for you guys anybody dry it? ## Hi Tracie, I haven't tried Nucynta (Tapentadol) specifically, but looking at its indications, this medication appears to be marketed for use in treating moderate to severe (acute) pain. Running a search for Nucynta here on MedsChat (in the search bar above) you can find a number of patient reviews pertaining to its efficacy. Based on what I've seen posted, it looks like it's effective for many individuals, but others have also raised concerns about its long term use and safety. At the end of the day though, I think the reality is that each individual reacts/responds differently and the only honest way to...

or ointment to buy ## Recipe to make hyaluronidase cream ## I urgently need hyaluronidase cream or hyaluronidase injection for overdone under eye fillers. Hyaluronidase cream will also do. ## According to the MedsChat drug monograph, Hyaluronidase is reported to be a combination of enzymes. Further data suggests that there are three main types of Hyaluronidases entailing two classes of "eukaryotic endoglycosidase hydrolases" + a "prokaryotic lyase-type of glycosidase". If you wish to understand its chemical makeup and other pertinent information, you can learn more about this drug on the page for Hyaluronidase Details Regarding its availability as an ointment/cream, perhaps a compounding pharmacy may be of further assistance to you. I hope this helps!

I have a green square pill with "dp" on both sides. If broken in half, the center is white. Anyone know what these are? ## Based on other related threads here, I think the "dp" stands for Dragon Pharmaceuticals - A company that produces steroids. There are other depictions on MedsChat of square (blue, red, orange, pink, etc) pills marked with "dp" that seem to be from this manufacturer. However, I'm not having any luck finding specific details on a green version. The red square pill with dp is reportedly Anavar (Oxandrolone) 20 mg, so I imagine we're on the right track... Does anyone else recognize this pill? ## It is 50mg oxymetholone (anadrol), produced by dragon pharmaceuticals. ## No, its an AI (aromatase inhibitor) letrozole by dragon pharma ## It...

Hello, Where can i fill a prescription for that medication? I have a prescription by my doctor but my pharmacy does not have it in stock. Thanks. ## Hi Maria, I looked up the NDC you provided for "Hylafem Boricum Acidum 2x" on MedsChat's National Drug Code database (52747-250) and it comes up with the active ingredient being "Boric Acid" at a dosage strength of "2 [hp_X]/1" - Perhaps a chemist at a compounding pharmacy would be able to work with that information (given that you have a prescription)? They may be your best bet if regular large chain stores don't carry what you're looking for. Hope this helps! ## My pharmacy had to order it and only took 48 hours to receive it.

Has anyone been able to get their insurance company to cover this prescription? Our prescription coverage dept refers us to the medical coverage dept, and back and forth they go. It is an RX, but it is considered a 'medical food'...... This is for Alzheimer's ## Hi Neednamenda, How much do they charge you for the Axona 'medical food'? If there's any other way for you to save money, I would consider trying out an Rx Savings Card (such as the one MedsChat offers "here") to help cut the cost of your prescription up front. Therefore if you don't get medical coverage for it, you can still save money in other ways. Also wanted to note that according to the manufacturer, the main ingredient of Axona is 'caprylic triglyceride'; a type of fatty acid fo...

Trying to obtain this product in our local pharmacies. Just two weeks ago I tried buying it at COSTCO. The National Drug Code is 0603-1330-58. ## Hi Fernando, Have you already checked with any other pharmacies outside of Costco regarding its availability? I see that the National Drug Code comes up on MedsChat's NDC database as a product of Qualites Pharmaceuticals. So one idea may be to contact the manufacturer directly to see which pharmacies they distribute this to... You could also ask your pharmacy to order it? Another option is to visit a compounding pharmacy with your prescription in hand and see if they can make a custom formulation for you. If it's of any help, the two active ingredients are: Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide + Guaifenesin. And the medication itself reported...

I am in horrific pain constantly. I cannot afford help that I must do myself. Please, if anyone out ther who can help me rid my pain, I will be forever indebted . ## Dear Magnolia, I'm truly sorry to hear about the level of pain you're constantly having to cope with... When it comes to being able to afford meds, have you considered utilizing an Rx savings card to help cut down on their cost? Rx savings cards, such as the one MedsChat offers (here) could potentially save you anywhere from 15-75% off your prescription. Another option would be to look into various patient assistance programs that some manufacturers offer to patients who meet certain income criteria. However you may have to discuss this with your doctor for more specific details on how to apply for those programs. D...

How much would a prescription cost of 120 30mg oxycodone pills with no insurance? ## USE GOVMT DISCOUNT CARDS FROM SOCIAL SERVICES. ASK FOR DISCOUNT CARDS. GOD BLESS...THEY CUT YOUR COST 50%. ## @Jack, Costs tend to vary based on location as well (i.e. the same prescription in Canada may be pennies on the dollar in comparison to US prices). The same goes for those who utilize pharmacy coupons such as the one MedsChat offers here: Rx Savings Card This card in particular may save you anywhere from 15 to 75% off the typical cost. Something I don't know of however, is if these pharmacy coupons provide a different percentage of savings at different pharmacy chains (such as CVS vs Walgreens vs RiteAid, etc). So if I were you I'd consider calling up a few different pharmacies in your a...

Is anyone familiar with the epilepsy medication aptiom and what are the reviews? ## Hi Nicole, From the looks of it, you seem to be the first person to post about this specific medication here on MedsChat. But in terms of reviews, the FDA approved Aptiom back in 2013 based on three large clinical trials, including over 1,400 people who've been living with partial-onset seizures. According to these studies, Aptiom reportedly demonstrated a statistically significant reduction (of up to 50% or more) in standardized seizure frequency from where patients were prior to treatment. This is compared to a 22% reduction in patients who received a placebo. Based on this information alone, Aptiom sounds like a viable treatment option in my opinion. However, one must also consider pros and cons w...

To find resonable price for cialis ## Hello, Just to confirm, Cialis is only available with a doctor's prescription here in the US. However, if you're looking for ways to save money on the script, MedsChat actually offers a drug discount card that can save you anywhere from 15% to 75% off your Rx, potentially cutting the cost drastically. You can learn more about it on the following page: RX Savings Card If there any Calias patients here who wouldn't mind posting what the typical cost of their prescription is, maybe that will also give others a better idea of what prices to anticipate before committing to a doctor's appointment... Hope this helps!

Please look up a medication by lot number TMSA15268-A ## LOOKING FOR A MEDICATION WITH LOT # PRO3150. I THINK IT IS DOCETAXEL. ## At this time I don't think there is any way to look up medication via their lot number. For example, Lot # PRO3150 comes up as a Motorola headset/earpiece accessory which is completely unrelated. Lot # TMSA15268-A also yields nothing. Perhaps an easier approach may be to search for Docetaxel (the medication in question) and see if you recognize the specific tablet by imprint or description? Medications can even be searched by their NDC if you happen to have that information on hand. MedsChat has a National Drug Code Database that can be accessed from the home page. Does anyone else have thoughts or suggestions to add? ## Looking for lot 051670. It is half...

I have been on Ativan for 25+ years name brand. I have no insurance and do not qualify for assistance. Does anyone know where I can get this at the best possible cost. It is now over $600 for 45 tablets. I have tried generic in the past, which did not work for me. Any suggestions on coming off or switching Rx's. I have tapered down to 1.5 from 3 mg per day. Still feel I need it to function normally. Help appreciated. ## Hi flowers, If you don't have insurance and are unable to qualify for any patient assistance programs, I would encourage you to look into Rx savings cards. MedsChat actually offers one that can save you anywhere from 15% to 75% off your prescription, potentially cutting the cost drastically. I have been on Nevanac for over a year. My co-pay, although high 70.00 was doable. Toady I went to pick up my meds only to find my copay, with Blue Cross is now 296.00 which I cannot afford. Could you please send me any coupons or co-pay assistance programs or I will be forced to either use a more reasonably proced product OR go off of the meds completely. I have a macular pucker/epi retinal membrane. Thank you. BTW: my normal copay for other medications is 5.00 to 10.00 with Blue Cross. ## Hi Sharyn, How are you? I am on medicare in Wisconsin. I am on ms contin er 15mg tablets. I get them at cvs. I'm wondering if there is any way to get them cheaper? Seems like discounts aren't often allowed on medicare. ## Hi Jet, I'm not sure if Medicare allows patients to use pharmacy coupons in conjunction with their service, but I did want to add that MedsChat offers a free Rx Savings Card that can be used at over 60,000 pharmacies nationwide for an average discount of 15-75% off your medication. It might be worth presenting it at your next refill just to see what the dollar cost comes out to. If the savings outweighs what medicare provides, it may be practical to use it instead. Another idea is to ask the pharmacy about any patient assistance programs that the manufacturer offers (if any). I ho...

What color is a non generic norco 10 mg and who is original manufacture. ( original norco)What color is original 10 mg norco ## There usually Watson & yellow.... ## @Cents, I believe Patrick (post #1) is right about Watson being the original manufacturer of the yellow oblong/oval shaped tablets. However, Actavis is now the company who took over and they altered the formula to make them white in their physical appearance. It was after this change that many patients also reported a significant difference in the tablet's overall effectiveness. I for one have not tried either, but if you take a look around the various related threads here on MedsChat, you may find several reviews that discuss this change from the original formula. It is widely thought that Actavis put less active in...

It's been a bout 80 hrs since I took Methadone fir a week straight. I've been on Subutex for 2 yrs. I just wanna feel better. I have 3 kids and a job. Please help me. When will my Subutex work again ## Hi Evam, Sorry to hear about your situation. I realize it's been over a month since you posted this. How are you feeling now? Much better I hope!? Anyhow, according to MedsChat's half-life calculator, methadone has an average half-life of 37.5 (roughly three days). I've also heard from some medical professionals that it may take up to five half-life cycles for a medication to be completely out of your system ['hair' probably being an exception]. So 37.5 x 5 half-life's = 187.5 hours (or about a weeks time). I think it's always a good idea to double chec...
