I had a miscarriage on 20th june 2010 and after that i did not had my periods. i had a pregnancy test and was not pregnant. kindly suggest me some medicines for starting my periods again. ## Sorry to hear about your miscarriage. After a pregnancy your body might take some time before returning to normal with its hormones, etc. You might want to check with your doctor and see if they can recommend birth control pills, since some women use them to regulate their menstrual cycle. It is definitely a good idea to find out which birth control pills would be best for you from your doctor because they would be most familiar with your specific medical history. Hope this helps! ## some medicines for starting my periods ## i am 24 years old i didn't my menses this month.i didn't knowwhy sh...

Does an ovarian cyst affect period stopping?? :( HELP! X ## Hello, Shaana! How are you? Sorry about the problem that you're having. Yes, if you aren't having your period, then you most likely aren't ovulating and will not be able to get pregnant. Have you consulted your doctor? If my period start on a Fri. should I start taking the first pill that says start and tale thevery first pill Sunday? ## Even if you didn't start your period on a Sunday, you should take the first active tablet the first day of your period. That will provide immediate protection against pregnancy. The only exception to this would be if your doctor has instructed you otherwise. Oral contraceptives may cause side effects, such as headache, irritability, bloating and irregular bleeding. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Hello am hajji, I removed my implant this week and am having this pain in my lower abdomen, any time I easy my self this discharge is coming out, and I need a baby please what can I take that will bring back my period. I Just Started Taking This Pill A Week Ago On A Sunday And That Same Day Finished My Period. Its A Week That Has Gone By And I Just Started My Period Again on This Sunday. I Have Not Been Taking My Pills On A Set Time Why Did I Start My Period Again I'm Only 15 And I'm Scared I Need Advice Please! ## This is a hormonal based contraceptive, so what you're experiencing is most likely what's called break through bleeding, rather than an actual menstrual cycle. It is normal for this to occur, especially when you are new to taking such medications and it may continue for as long as the first 3 months. Learn more oral contraceptive details here. Taking it at the same time every day, so there aren't any gaps between them of larger than 24 hours will also help minimize this ...

I HAVE A COUSIN THAT HASN'T HAD HER PERIOD IN ALMOST 2 YEARS , WHAT CAN I TELL HER TO USE FOR HER TO GET IT AGAIN. SHE'S STARTED GETTING PAIN IN HER LOWER BACK AND CAN'T REALLY DO ANYTHING AROUND THE HOUSE ANYMORE. IS THERE ANYTHING THAT I TELL HER ? ## Has she consulted a doctor? It's really hard to know what the solution would be, without knowing her medical history and having tests done to be able to know what has caused the problem. It could be due to hormones, stress, being underweight, doing lots of exercise and several other options. How old is she? ## as far as I know she's not doing exercize at all never has. she's about 16 or 17 or so she's still young, and they have gone to see the doctor but all they tell her it's all normal and I know better,...

Ok so I just started the sprintec. If I'm on the white pills and want my period to stop, should I start on my blue bills again?? ## Hi Boo! U should really stick 2 the directions of taking the pill. Even though the white pills r 2 keep u on track, u should still take them. U want 2 keep your body on a schedule. Did u just start the pill, recently? If so, your periods could b off 4 a couple of months. Then, usually, the periods will slow down. Some women don't get their period, after a few months. Hope this info helps. ## To prevent your period, you'd basically have to let it not start, but going straight into a new pack of active pills and skipping the white ones. It is usually perfectly to safe to do, once in awhile, unless your doctor gives you some reason not do. There ar...

I started taking 'the pill' during my period, but my period ended before the end of the placebo tablets. Do I keep taking them or wait for the next period?! ## Hello, Chilsy! How are you? You're actually not supposed to start with the placebo tablets. You should have started by taking the first active tablet on the first day of your period. Doing that means you will be immediately protected from pregnancy, since they will prevent ovulation from occurring. However, you can start them at any point in your cycle, but you'll need to take 7 active tablets continuously, before you'll be protected against pregnancy. That means no unprotected intercourse, until the 8th day. You may also experience side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, bloating and ...

Hi, This is my first time taking birth control period. I started the pack on the 21st of last month. I finished the brown pills & started the new pack a few days ago. Was I supposed to wait for my period to come before starting the new pack? Or am I ok? ## Hello, Whit! How are you? No, you are fine, you are supposed to continue to the new pack, regardless of whether or not you have a period. Some women don't have them, while taking oral contraceptives. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability and PMS-like symptoms. Is there anything else I can help with?

i am 42 year unmarried girl . i have a problem of irrgular periods . as per gynec my overies are not functioning. she perscribed me femilon. i wanted to know is it safe for unmarried women and for high BP paitent. ## Femilon is a hormonal oral contraceptive and it can work to help regulate your cycle, but it won't make your ovaries start functioning again. It is normal for them to slow down or stop functioning at your age, it means your most likely in perimenopause. And they can be used by all women, whether or not you are married doesn't matter. I forgot the last week weeks of pills and according to instruction I have to restart taking a new pack and discard those remaining last two weeks of pill ( which I did ). A day after missing my pill, I got my period ( like normal and on schedule ) I restarted taking the Lo Loestrin Fe back 2 weeks after being off it. Then my period started again 20 days after the last day of my period. It was light ( like my last period ). But the problem or concern I have now is that I got the period for a week, then it stopped for 2 days, then came back for another 2 days ( also light that it is ok to just wear pantiliner ) then after that it stopped for another 2 days, now its back again and I am having little cramps like I am having period. Is this normal? ## Yes, that can happen, if you miss pills ...

So i took a break from taking sprintec birth control pills for a month. I stopped in November and started taking them again in January. My period checker stated i was supposed to have my period 2 days later. Ive started the pills beginning on sunday now i have a brown discharge, is this normal? Am I ok? ## Hello, Chanel! How are you? Well, when you're on oral contraceptives, your period will adjust to them and not stay on its usual schedule, additionally, by stopping for a month, you threw your hormones levels off and a period checker would most likely not be totally accurate, anyway, since it doesn't take that into account. And, since restarting some unusual breakthrough bleeding is also to be expected, as listed by the FDA, other side effects may include headaches, irritabilit...

If I don't want to get my period on weekends is it ok the start y first pack of loestrtin fe on Friday which is the 4th day of my period? My doctor said you are supposed to start the day after my period ends but would rather start on a Friday. ## Hello, Jenn! How are you? That's very odd, you are normally supposed to start them the first or second day of your period, so they are immediately effective at protecting you against pregnancy, according to the FDA. You can actually start them at any time, but if it is later in your cycle than the first or second of your period, it will take 7 days, before they become effective to prevent pregnancy, which means you will have to use a backup method of contraception until the 8th day of taking them. Hello, I have been on Tri-sprintec for almost 2 years, and this past month my Rx service changed to Tri-Previfem. My concern is that i just started my period today (saturday) and i am supposed to start my new pill pack tomorrow (sunday) i just feel like i did not really have a period yet. Now i am wondering if i should not start the new pill pack and just let my period finish??? please help! ## Your period will finish its natural course even if you take the pills and for proper protection against pregnancy, you should start them on the normal day you are supposed to. Tri-Previfem and Tri-Sprintec both contain the same ingredients, your pharmacy service was probably just able to obtain the new one cheaper than the previous. Some common side effects you may experience can include: nausea,...

had my period 11/13 and 11/29 is that normal? My husband and I are trying to conceive. My cycle is between 24-26 for 3days. ## Hello, Almond! How are you? You started on the 13th and then again on the 29th? If so, no, that's not a normal cycle length. The minimum normal cycle length should be 21 days from the first day of your period, until the day before you start bleeding, again. Have you consulted your doctor? It sounds like you might have a hormonal imbalance. How old are you?
