It's been a very long time since I've been on the pill. I began a few weeks ago & have 2 white pills left. Years ago, I always knew when my period would begin and one of the advantages of the pill was regularity of my period. It seems, from what I've read, that has all changed and it is now common to miss a period or more. I was prescribed 10 mg of Medroxyprogesterone to be taken daily beginning on day 16 of my cycle to stop me from coming on my period while on vacation. I just want to make sure this is going to work because the doctor I saw was new and didn't seem to sure about it.
