Rash after quitting Lyrica
I took Lyrica (150mg daily) for 2 years. The medicine helped reduce my leg and hip gain greatly. In January I started working out daily and dieting and lost 30 pounds. I gradually have quit taking Lyrica and am having only a small amount of discomfort at times. The problem is that upon quitting the Lyrica the back of my knees started itching and welps appeared after I scratched them. It has been 3 weeks since I stopped taking Lyrica and I am still itchy. Has this happened to anyone else? Could this be a result of nerve damage? ## Lyrica contains the active ingredient Pregabalin, it is an anticonvulsant that has also been shown to help with certain types of nerve pain. It sounds like what you may be experiencing is a common withdrawal effect from your body trying to readjust to not havin... ...

prescribed for itching relief. it is a small dark gree tablet ## Atarax is an antihistamine used to relieve the symptoms of common anxiety and tension and, in combination with other medications, to treat anxiety that results from physical illness. It also relieves itching from allergic reactions and can be used as a sedative before and after general anesthesia. Plavix Withdrawal Symptoms

Is this normal? & what should I put on it until I see my doctor in 5more day`s? ## Plavix contains Clopidogrel, which is an antiplatelet agent used to help prevent clotting, so it does have an effect on circulation, so this could be a reaction to being taken off of it suddenly, because your body has to readjust to not having the medication, now. Withdrawal symptoms can manifest in many different ways. What you are describing is basically a type of hives, which means the histamine receptors in your body are probably being oversensitive, right now. There are many topical allergy products on the market that you can p... ...
