Hello, I've been taking 75mg of nuvigil now for only 2 days. The only real side effect I've experienced except slight nausea is that i feel wide awake after 3am. I go to bed at 11 with no problems but the once 3ish comes around i have a wide awake feeing. Im not wanting to take it anymore cause i NEED my sleep!!! Recommendations?? ## Hello, Amy! How are you? I am prescribed lortab 10 every 4 hours as needed, soma 350 mg 1 every 4 hours as needed, 15 mg of ambien each night. I am sleepless n Alabama and need to desperately find a safe way to get off this medication. I have no insurance.....please help. ## If you're simply looking for a powerful sleep aid to deal with insomnia, I'd highly recommend considering medical marijuana (that is of an indica variety). It may also be of great benefit to any emotional pain you might be dealing with when it comes to withdrawing off those medications. I'm not aware of the legality of cannabis in Alabama, but for someone with no insurance, it's something you can easily grow for personal use at very little cost. Hi, I am long time anxiety patient - i've been on paxil, buspar, lexapro, zanaflex, remrom, flexiril, tricyciclants, trazodone - you name it. Also, with this I have had bad insomnia. I will not sleep for nights at a time, and it is affecting my work as well as my social life. I have tried (for sleep) Lunesta 2-4mg, Ambien 20mg, Sonata 40mg, and Prosom 2mg. I have been on antidepressants for about 2 years, nothing helped me to sleep. I started taking 1.5 mg of Xanax before I go to bed and finally after all this time I am sleeping through the night. I still have dreams but they don't keep me awake. I feel fully rested and get a good nights sleep. I only take the Xanax at night and I don't take anything during the day, I don't feel any anxiety. I will never take anything else, all those other medicines i.e Zoloft, Viibryd, Prozac made me crazy. Hope this will help someone else. Remeron helps me sleep great at night but doesnt help control my mood swings in the day though.. my doctor said it was a mood stabalizer and would help but yet I still see nothing! I still stay irritable during the day.. and I also take zoloft during the day but still nothing! So as far as remeron being a mood stabalizer its bull to me but does help me sleep, thats just about all it does ## Hello, Chrisyy! How are you? Zoloft is an SSRI antidepressant and Remeron is an NSS antidepressant, so based on that I can only guess that they just aren't the right medications to help your irritability. ## I've been taking this pill which i was told would help me sleep. They're Trazodone HCL 50mg tabs. It says on the bottle that it's for insomnia. Is this a sleeping pill and what does it do? The Diphenhydramine in the Zzzquil can cause elevated levels of Serotonin and so can the Tramadol, so it's best not to mix them, unless your doctor says it's okay for you to do so. Hi, I've been taking Dulan 30 mg for the last 7 months, taking one daily sometimes in the morning and sometimes in the evening or sometimes before sleeping.
