Was a phone nearby and I did call 911 and told them what happened. The same time the two young ones did called 911 further up and the police came from their side first and after to me. Can i take Nyqil Severe Cold and Flu with CTM 4mg tablet ## Hello, Esther! How are you? You likely shouldn't mix them, since the Nyquil also contains an antihistamine, you'd basically be doubling up on it and that could result in overdose. The Nyquil contains Acetaminophen, Dextromethorphan, Doxylamine and Phenylephrine, so it really contains all you need, if your doctor approves of you taking it. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, nervousness and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?

My sister took a 65mg Darvon little pink capsule. She was frantic with pain from a toothache. I am stressed.. it was from 2010.. Is it ok..? She seems fine, but I know they are discontinued! ## Did she suffer any adverse effects? She will most likely be okay, but should make sure to inform her doctor that she took it. They were pulled from the market due to the fact that they were found to cause a high risk of cardiac dangers, as well as an inordinate number of overdose deaths. However, the cardiac problems usually only occurred while someone was taking it and they resolved upon discontinuation. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipat...

She gets up in the morning has 1 cup decaffe coffee, toast with peanut butter while reading her newspaper then goes back to bed and would sleep all day if someone didnt wake her. I see no food or drink for 30 minutes but other than that... ## What other medications do you take? I'm sorry, but I'll need more details in order to answer your question. ## Strattera and verapamil are the two main ones that get me going in the morning, also I take vitamin D, magnesium, tramadol, meloxicam, and biotin. I go to ER 1-2x/mo for pain. Always same "cocktail" - Dilaudid, Toradol, Zofran, & Ativan. Works like a charm and I am usually in/out in about 3-4 hours. Only IV delivery seems to be effective. Doc would like me to be able to get these meds in some other way than ER due to excessive cost but can't seem to find a place willing to administer. Why are brand name medicine so expensive even with good ensurance ## Hi janet, Good question. In my personal opinion, brand name medications (as well as some generics) have become extremely (and unnecessarily) expensive due to the fact that the big pharmaceutical companies know that so many patients are dependent on the medications that they manufacture. They take advantage because they can... I wish it weren't true, but I believe this is the viewpoint of many others. I imagine that some medications are expensive because of their ingredients and the time it took to create them, however it is out of control now and there are so many expensive medications that contain ingredients which lead to serious reactions and even death in some cases. I personally stand by alternative and homeop...
