I have been on Carb/Entacap Tab Levo 150 for apprx 8 - 9 yrs for Parkinsons. Over the past 6 months I am bothered with bladder/kidney infections. Could there be a problem with a side effect of this medication. I also take Ropinirole 3 mg and Benztropine Tab. 0.5 mg. ## Have you been having trouble urinating, when you don't have an infection, like for a period of time before the infection occurs? I've been on Nitrofurantin for over 3 months for frequent bladder infections. I just received a letter from my insurance that says I should not be on this drug because I am over 65 years of age. I have lung cancer, COPD, high blood pressure, heartburn, stomach pain, bladder pain and burning, urinary infections, and vaginal dryness and pain and yeast infections. I have a bladder infection that makes my urinating urgent and sometimes uncontrollable. I was given a prescription for smz-tmp to treat it. Like an idiot I started the prescription but never finished it because I was also given amoxicillin to treat an infection in my tooth then panicked cause I was taking both of them at once and I was scared of overdoing it. Now months later I'm having some serious lower back pain and I'm considering finishing both prescriptions in hopes to make a full regimen.
