Can i take Nyqil Severe Cold and Flu with CTM 4mg tablet ## Hello, Esther! How are you? You likely shouldn't mix them, since the Nyquil also contains an antihistamine, you'd basically be doubling up on it and that could result in overdose. The Nyquil contains Acetaminophen, Dextromethorphan, Doxylamine and Phenylephrine, so it really contains all you need, if your doctor approves of you taking it. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, nervousness and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?

Dear Sirs, I will express my medical story what happened to me since Nov. 1998 when I had my fist car accident at 5.30 am going to work when two young ones send me off the 2 lane road and scratch my car all the way across. Was a phone nearby and I did call 911 and told them what happened. The same time the two young ones did called 911 further up and the police came from their side first and after to me. They did ask me to take me to the hospital when the ambulatory service came and everybody else but I did refuse because I had no insurance that time. I did got a Doctor to help me with massages for six weeks and after that I did returned back to work. A week later as I remember I did pic-up two ladies from the airport and I did called the office that I am on my way in . The office was 2...

My sister took a 65mg Darvon little pink capsule. She was frantic with pain from a toothache. I am stressed.. it was from 2010.. Is it ok..? She seems fine, but I know they are discontinued! ## Did she suffer any adverse effects? She will most likely be okay, but should make sure to inform her doctor that she took it. They were pulled from the market due to the fact that they were found to cause a high risk of cardiac dangers, as well as an inordinate number of overdose deaths. However, the cardiac problems usually only occurred while someone was taking it and they resolved upon discontinuation. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipat...

For the past 4 days except for today I have been taking 8mg of suboxone, today I took 3-7.5 mg of Vicodin to no effect I'm guessing because of my blocked receptors, I'm looking to just continue my suboxone use, do I have to wait even though the suboxone already blocked everything, or will I go into precipitated withdrawals because there are opiates in my system? Thx ## @Curious, If you haven't received any kind of effect from taking a single vicodin, my opinion is that you should be fine to continue using suboxone as you were. However because I am not a doctor I would still encourage you to seek professional medication advice regarding this just to be on the safe side. There are also those here who have a lot of personal experience switching between the two and can offer a m...

I went back and she put me on benzonatate for a cough OK my question is I think I'm trying to catch a cold, is it safe to take night time cold and flu med. With the other meds I'm taking? ## Hello, Patricia! How are you? It depends which medication you want to take, not all of them contain the same ingredients. For instance, many of them use Diphenhydramine in the night time ones, which could be too sedating if taken with the other medications. Can you please post back and clarify? The FDA lists the typical side effects of Zolpidem as possibly including nausea, dizziness, hallucinations, sleep actions and next day hangover-like effects. PUT ME ON PLAQUENIL, EVEN THOUGH I WAS ADAMANT THAT I WANTED TO TAKE ATABRINE BECAUSE IT WORKED SO WELL FOR ME THE LAST TIME I HAD A FLARE. HE AT FIRST SAID THAT HE HAD NEVER EVEN HEARD OF IT BEFORE. I WAS STUNNED. I WAS EVEN MORE STUNNED WHEN MY DOCTOR, (YES, IN CASE YOU ARE WONDERING, HE IS A RHEUMATOLOGIST) NEVER EVEN TRIED TO GET IT FOR ME. HE SAID ITS NOT AVAILABLE. I KNOW THAT THAT IS NOT TRUE, I JUST DON'T KNOW HOW TO GET IT. ANYWAY, THE PLAQUENIL IS NOT WORKING, AND I AM GETTING WORSE. I understand that it is alright to take Tylenol when on Warfarin which I am doing but for awhile taking Tylenol did actually effect my INR results and the Warfarin dosage had to be altered accordingly. I have been diagnosed with Bursitis and the Tylenol is not helping at all but I hesitate to try any other pain medication if there is one that is compatible with Warfarin. Seems to me when on Warfarin there are so many limitations. ## There are others you can try, if your doctor approves, they just have to be ones that don't cause additional blood thinning, such as Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, Morphine, or other opiates. The NIH warns that they carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Only your physi...

I am very worried about size effects would. Like to know if other people are taking it and if they are comfortable with it ## Hello, Silver star! How are you and your husband? He should consult his doctor regarding his low heart rate, it may be indicative of a problem and is usually included in the warnings that come with this medication. Cam I take my blood pressure pill ramipril 5mg with adipex? I just took one ## Hello, Gladys! How are you? I didn't find any problems or interactions listed between these two medications, but Adipex is contraindicated in most blood pressure patients, due to the fact that it is a stimulant that can elevate heart rate and blood pressure, as listed by the FDA. It also carries the risk of being habit forming. Have they both been prescribed for you? Is your blood pressure under control?
