My husband was recently prescribed gabapentin 300 mg 1 cap at night for neuropathy. He took it one time and drank a beer about 3;00am the nest day around noon his face began to swell up on both sides and his mouth on the inside went numb. He took benedryl but continued to have swelling even 24 hours later. Could this be an allergic reaction? Thank you.
