Has anyone tried this medication called Emgality? ## It’s really weird that since 2019 nobody has come to this website to post anything about Emgality? I have a hard time believing that considering all the bad reviews out there. Is the Emgality manufacturer paying to keep these terrible side effects off this site? This is really upsetting as I’ve used and trusted this website for five years at least, it’s bad enough they’re paying the neurologist to tell people there are zero side effects FYI, if a medical professional tells you there are zero side effects you need to run from whatever medication they are trying to give you because that’s the biggest lie ever. Has anyone used or familiar with the results of Lexitrol-X? ## Lexitrol-X is a nutritional supplement, which is claimed to help men that suffer from sexual dysfunction. As such, it is not actually scientifically or medically proven to help with anything. In all honesty, I am looking at a product information page, but the ingredients are listed in such small print, that I can't even make out what most of them are, the only one I've managed to decipher is Ginseng. Has anyone actually tried this product?

Just started taking activella, I am 43 and having night sweats and moodiness. Can anyone tell me if they were this young when needing on hrt, and did they have a period while on it? ## It hasn't happened to me personally, but I do know of it happening to people that young and it is well-known in the medical community. There is no hard and fast rule for when any women will enter menopause or the preliminary stages of it. And you can also still have periods while going through it and being on the hormone therapy, though they may be irregular and may stop altogether. Do you have any other questions?

The side effects can include: nausea, dizziness, irritability and headache. It is also known to be habit forming, so stopping it abruptly, after long-term use could result in withdrawal symptom and seizures. I'm trying to find reviews for using Relev-X for arthritis in the knees. Any info would be appreciated. ## Info on Relev-X ## You are not going to find any scientifically or medically proven information on this. Relev-X is just a nutritional supplement and while these products can make a lot of claims, they are not actually proven to work. This product contains Glucosamine, which is a substance naturally present in our joints that is believed to diminish with age, injury or health issues. The other ingredients are listed as: Fish oils, while willow bark, curcumin, licorice, boswellia, cat's claw and devil's claw. In addition, since it contains licorice, which can raise your blood pressure, it should not be used by those suffering from hypertension. Are there any other questi...

Reviews on the generic Valtex pill is blue number on pill is SZ 393 Sandoz pharm. from people that have tried this .. ## Hello, Ann! How are you? I've never taken it myself, since I've only dealt with oral cold sores, but I haven't read many complaints about it on here, or other medical information sites. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, and stomach pain. I take Acyclovir, since it's the one approved to prevent cold sores and I have taken the one from Sandoz, I found it to work fine for me. Can anyone that's taken this one chime in with their experience?

I read in a medical newsletter that fermented wheat germ sold under the name of Avemar , also avaialble from amazon, is able to reduce all types of tumors, at least in the laboratory as described in 34 different publications of which I read the summaries. I read one publication in detail. Does anyone have any experience with the fermented wheat germ, or know of anyone who has taken it? I did read the reviews on amazon, some postive, others negative with respect to problems with shipping (did not arrive cold) ## @Louisa, I've also done research on fermented wheat germ extract (Avemar) and while I haven't personally taken it, a lot of reviews do come across as being positive; not to mention all the studies published online as well. Probably worth giving a shot if you or someone yo...

I just received the 7.5/325mg yesterday, I have been reading the reviews and I am very concern. I have always taken the 7.5/325mg. by the brand Watson. I have been on disability since 1994. I don't know what to do if it doesn't work and this is the only type availability. Why would a pharmacy have a contract with this company? I have chronic back pain plus I have other medical problems, If this pill doesn't work and I have other side affects, is there any other Percocet that I could use? ## Pharmacy distributors will have a contract with whatever generic manufacturer is offering the cheapest price, since not everyone has prescription coverage. It is permissible, as long as the given generic has been approved by the FDA. Not everyone has a problem with this product from Alvog...

My dr has me on 1mg of xanax and I am still having anxiety, so he put me on buspar as well. Is it safe and will it work? ## Hi Mary, If your doctor prescribed both medications then I believe it is his or her professional opinion (after an in person evaluation & reviewing your medical records) that you can safely take them together in the doses that you were put on. My understanding is that your prescribing doctor also believes they will work well together... So I think if you're going to question their "expertise", perhaps it would be best to seek the opinion of another medical doctor (or pharmacist) outside of your network. I'd also encourage you to check out the University of Maryland Medical Center (umm.edu / drug interaction tool) for good measure, where you can ...

My patient has recently had two (2) toes removed and he has extreme bad pain in his right foot. If you could help him out and get the right pain medication what would you recommend? ## Ideally, only a qualified physician who's examined the patient in person and reviewed their medical history can make an appropriate judgement call on adequate treatment for something like this. However from a layman's (outside) perspective it would seem that starting off with something mid-level in strength would allow for substantial wiggle room in the dosage and/or type of narcotic analgesic being administered. In my personal opinion based solely off observation (not having had any of my toes removed and can't fathom the amount of pain that might ensue) a moderate dose of hydrocodone appears...

Can anybody recommend a pain management practice near Aurora IL to treat back injuries? The challenge is that many non narcotic medications have not been working well for me and I do not feel good from drugs like Lyrica. I would ideally like a clinic where they would be willing to review my medical history in full and prescribe an appropriate treatment. ## One difficulty you may be creating for yourself is by trying to insist on a certain narcotic medication. Many doctors see this as drug seeking behavior. It is actually much better to let your medical records speak for you, whenever you see a new doctor, that way they can see what has been documented by other doctors and they are more likely to take that under consideration. Therefore, you should always make sure to take a copy of your...

Go to dr kevin weiner on nelson ave. Good luck ## Thanks for the suggestion on Dr. Kevin Weiner. I was checking out some of his reviews on HealthGrades and he is definitely regarded as one of the top doctors for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in the New York Metro Area. Posted below are the contact details to his office in Staten Island for anyone interested in paying him a visit: Kevin H Weiner MD 2071 Clove Rd Staten Island, NY 10304 (718) 442-4422 (Office) Would you describe this doctor as being pretty liberal or conscious of his patient's true medical needs? ## Apparently he does not prescribe opiates anymore, I called to try to make an appointment. Does anyone still see him? Is the receptionist just trying to sway people away?

Dr prescribes diet pills in nh? ## Are you simply looking for a doctor that prescribes diet pills in New Hampshire? It shouldn't matter where you are located in the U.S; as virtually any medical doctor in your area can prescribe you a diet pill (such as phentermine, or any others). If you want to stay away from prescriptions I would recommend Vitamin Shoppe or GNC. They would also carry diet pills that are prescription strength, but it would be best to do your research on the specific brand you are looking for first so you can read user reviews. Please post back if you have any other questions or comments regarding this.

I am taking Doxfol 7.5mg with Fludac 20mg for the past 7 months and have not experienced any side effects so far. My quality of life has also become better. I went online and found out that it's a medical food and is safe also. What is your experience? Please let me know.

I have seen the same psychiatrist for 5 years and recently moved to Hattiesberg, MS. My family doctor referred me to a new Psych, however when I called to schedule the appt the receptionist said that the doctor does not prescribe adderall or xanax. She told me that when she asked what current meds I take. REALLY....the doctor never even met me or reviewed my medical history. ## Michelle, If the meds are that important to you, ask your doctor to refer someone else. Tell him you don't feel comfortable with the first referral. ## You have no guarantee that a new dr will rx you the same meds you've been taking. Most drs aren't aware of what others dr rx. The reason you were told that the dr doesn't rx those meds is because you would be a new patient and they do that to cut d...

Can my 12 year old boy take Ardosons capsules? He twisted his ankle and it's swelled. Pls let me know. ## Hi Rosa, Because the ingredients found in Ardosons are given by prescription-only here in the US, I can only recommend that you contact a doctor who can evaluate your son's condition in person and make an appropriate decision after reviewing his medical records and other pertinent details that may influence the course of treatment. I understand that in Mexico these types of medications have looser restrictions than the US, but to ensure your child's safety I think it would be worth your while to seek out a professional opinion. Just for your own information, the active ingredients found in Ardosons are: Indomethacin (which is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory) + Betameth...
