How does this medication cypron work? What is it indicated for? Are there any side effects? ## Hi ikem, According to Wiki, Cypron (cyproterone) is a steroidal anti-androgen that apparently was "never marketed". I don't know if this is still the case, but after reading that, I'm curious to know how or if you managed to get it prescribed? Its indications state that it is intended for use as hormone therapy for treating certain types of cancer, but also has a number of other uses geared around its progestational properties (i.e. severe acne, or hirsutism in females) As far as side effects are concerned, there are honestly too many to list on here without writing a small children's book Lol. But to name a few that I came across: hair loss, weight gain, loss of libido, we...

analgesic ## This medication is unavailable in the U.S. and I am sorry to say that other countries do not regulate their prescription drugs as strictly as the FDA does. That said, finding information on them is very difficult, since there are no databases which list them all, like there are for U.S. prescription drugs. The only thing I can suggest is that you try asking your doctor or pharmacist for more information. ## its cool ## very good

I searched far and wide and I think that they either used the name of a fake med.. or they are still evaluating it and its not out yet... cause TV shows like nurse jackie they usually use all real drug terms.. even on DEXTER i wanted to know what he was inj'ing... and its m99. And I looked it up and there it was.. So aleria is no where to be found, and I kinda wish it would be since they said it doesn't constipate you. lol ## The m99 im talking about is the strongest narcotic out there. It makes Fentynal look weak I think i heard where its 3000 times stronger than morphine.

Around 4 years ago our American Eskimo Spitz was diagnosed with an enlarged heart. We treated him for nearly a year for that problem through our family vet., but the medicine he was on didin't help. Finally he referred us to a specialist in Gathersburg, MD. At that appointment he was diagnosed with COPD, and the medicine he was treated with could have caused kidney failure. That vet put him on the tussigon and it does help some. The reason I am writing is because I see that several people have written in that they have the same breed of dog that we have. Just make sure that your diagnoses is correct and your dogs are being treated for the correct illness. I also see that people are having a hard time finding Tussigon. Why aren't your vets providing this for you? It is expensive, ...

I had 2 BPs taken in two days, BP was 157/100 and 157/105; I was recently prescribed Losartan 25 mg. The note from the doctor in my file this morning said to increase to 50 mg. I was on Lisinopril 5 mg, so while waiting to hear from someone I took the Lisinopril 5 mg. which I had normal BP while on it. What should I do? ## Hello, Lynda! How are you doing? You should follow your doctor's instructions to take the Losartan at 50mgs. It is an ARB and may cause side effects, such as nausea, headache, stomach pain, dry cough and increased urination. Were you abruptly switched from the Lisinopril to the Losartan? If so, that might have caused these elevations, you may have experienced a slight rebound effect and it could take awhile for the Losartan to kick in and lower your blood pressure.
