Low Back Pain And Neuro/ortho Meds

I am 42yrs.,85 Kg., 5ft10.5inch. Otherwise a healthy person also supported by Exe Master Ch up. Main problem since 2 yrs LB Pain.MRI shows L4,L5,S1 problems.L5S1 disc bulging.I hav recurring problems(not that severe) of muscle cramp,pull and numb forehead skin.Pain is more in Left lumber and radiates to left hip jt. Exercises (UK & US Styles) did not giv permanent soln.I can not go for bed rest neither can I Stop drivivng. I took homeo & Biochem meds.Recently A Neurosurgeon gave me:Lofecam 8,PNZ 40 and Neurof(in which mcobalamin is 1500mcg.) and applcation of heat with MUSCODAC Gel. The Gel is working(may be temporary),pain reduced. But why am I suffering from insomnia,headache, stomach upset after I started the Med? Is it due to Lofecam?
