tramadol/apap 37.5 mg ## This might be a name for this drug from a certain company that manufactures it, but the most common name for this med is Ultracet, so if you look under that, you will find it easier. Ultracet Info Click Here ## Ultracet does not come in a generic yet I dont think, unless it happened over the past month or so. ## I just looked it up at Ident-A-Drug, the paid site I use, there is a generic now available from Kali (Remember those weird ones that showed up before, and we couldn't find at walls because they were too new in the U.S.) Reddish Orange Tablet, Oblong, Marking Kali 083. Same dosage as the name brand McNeil one, but those are the only two companies listed as having it currently on the market. Here's the image, this is the only on from Kali that is c...

How many international units (I.U.) are in 2.0 mcg of Vitamin B12? ## 120mcg of Vitamin K2 is equivalent to how many IU? ## I have never seen vitamin B-12 measured in (I.U) international units. It's almost always measured in micrograms. From what I've read, 2.4 mcg per day, is reportedly the FDA's recommended dietary allowance (RDA) for vitamin B12. The conversion charts that I've come across supporting MCG to IU only pertain to the following vitamins: A, B1 through B6, C, D & E. Perhaps contacting a local pharmacy may be your best bet? However, it seems to me that as long as you can measure the recommended daily allowance (e.g. 100% daily value) then that should be adequate enough for determining how much should be taken in any 24hr period unless specifically told o...

having very bad side effects, such as, CONSTIPATION HOW TO OVER-COME THIS SIDE EFFECTS? ## The only way to overcome side effects of a pill is to stop taking it. All prescription drugs have some sort of side effect, so if you don't want to cope with them I would suggest looking into natural remedy solutions for whatever your condition may be. Most natural remedies may not be as strong as prescription drugs and may take longer to work as a result; but in return you are going to have very little, if any side effects whatsoever (given you follow proper instructions on how to take the medicine). Also to help relieve constipation, be sure to look for certain foods (such as fruit and vegetables) that help ease the digestive tract. Doing this will help keep you hydrated and keep your bowels...

Found a bunch of round purple tablets with scoring on one side and only the brand "McNeil" on the other. No numbers or anything else. We feel these tablets are old. Any info would be helpful. ## Hey, this is really strange but we found the same thing. Did you ever find out what they were? ## No we have found out nothing regarding these pills. Have researched the website and nothing anywhere. ## Found some as well from my grandmas dresser. Mcneil these days always comes up with a lot of tylenol plus codeien

blue-green color round scored across imprint on one side only - reads: 832 on top half and L03 on bottom half ## I'm sorry, but I can't find a listing for this, but that makes sense, if it is a foreign medication. They are not required to list their imprints and file them with the FDA, like medications are that are sold in the U.S. However, I will keep looking. Does anyone else recognize this? Do you have any idea what it was for? ## It's Levothyroxine. I bought some in Mexico back in 1989 or 1990. I can't remember the strength, but they're most likely 150 mcg.

I have hypothyroidism, and I've been on 25 mcg levothyroxine for three months now, and my blood results came back normal during my last doctor's visit. I forgot to ask him, so I thought I'd ask here. Since my thyroid is normal, do I have to continue taking the medication? ## A normal blood test result doesn't necessarily mean that your thyroid has returned to normal and that you are cured, what it can mean is that the medication is working, thus stopping it could start the problems you were being treat for, all over again. Have you consulted your doctor? Normally, if a change in the medication is needed, they would adjust your dosage accordingly.

My mother is taking Nitrofurantoin-mcr 100 for a UTI infection. In the past she has been on other antibiotics for the same and the infection has come back within days of use. Now she has been using the nitro- for 3 days, she has noticed that now it seems she has a bit of thickened blood in her urine. She is also taking a blood thinner(cumadin) for a heart problem. Is this a possible side effect of the med. ## Hello, Ken! How is your mother doing? On this, I'd suggest she see her doctor to have it checked out. It may just be from the UTI, but with her being on the Coumadin, any bleeding can be risky and isn't something to just wait around and see what happens. Do they know what's causing the repeated UTIs?

I am suffering from mild hypothyroid. And doctor advised me to take Thyronorm 50mcg. I am taking it since 5 to 6 months. And my weight is not increasing. I am only 44kg height 5.4''. My periods also come so late and very heavy blood upto 1 week. Please suggest me should I stop this medicine or should I take Thyronorm 25mcg? Please reply please. ## Hi, Poonam! You should follow your doctor's instructions and take whatever medication and dosage that they advise. As to your menstrual cycle, thyroid issues can affect that, just like the hormones that affect your menstrual cycle can affect your thyroid. Have you seen a gynecologist? You may be low in progesterone or have some other type of hormonal imbalance. ## I am taking thyronorm 75 since 1 year my periods came late& heav...

Are you on any other medications? The NIH warns that this medication may cause nausea, dizziness, weight changes, mood changes, and hair loss as side effects. Your doctor should be checking every 3 months, or so, and adjust your dosage accordingly. ## within what time you reduce TSH from 150 to 1? Mine is 42 and i am given thyronorm 200

Is Mecobalamin has 500mcg of vitamin B12, whereas Neurobine has only 0.2mg. What is the difference between mcg and mg? Please advise. ## The 500mcg dosage would come out to be 0.5mg, so there is a larger dose in the Mecobalamin. Some of these higher dose ones have been known to cause nausea in some people. Is there anything else I can help with?

Small round white pill that is scored on one side and has the letters MC printed on the other. Was believed to be either a muscle relaxer or anti-anxiety. ## MC with a box around it? Those come from Honduras and could be anything from muscle relaxers to pain killers to anti-anxiety depending on the size and weight. That company only labels their pills with their logo and nothing to identify the substance. If you have a photo or weight we could narrow it down. ## I am trying to identify small white round tablet with marking MC no number and horizontal line on other side.

I have severe migraines I am currently taking 100 mcg of Duragesic patch changed every 48 hours and 5 10mg Vicodin. I have have bad reactions to preventative medications, chiropractic antidepressants and have built up a tolerance to pain meds. My pain is so severe I can't keep my food down. Does any one know if there is a higher dosage of Duragesic/Fentynal that would help with the pain. I am miserable and so sick I don't want to get up. ## Ask your doctor for vistaril it will cut that nausa down . It is both drugs giving you the nausea but you have to eat something .. Soup.. Canned broth ## Durgesic does come in higher doses. I've heard if 250 mcg. Be aware if you get a terminally ill disease such as cancer, this is what is used to treat it. Elderly person needs vitamin with following ingredients: Vit. D 400mg, Folic acid 400 mcg., Biotin 300 mcg., Vit. B-12 1,000 mcg., Vit. B-6 100 mg., Selenium 100 mcg., Calcium + D 1,200 mg., Iron 250 mcg., and Vit. C 3,000 mg. Is there any one tablet that comes close to providing these nutrients in these proportions? ## Since most vitamins are over the counter products, there isn't a database that lists all of them and their ingredients. What I'd like to suggest is asking a pharmacist. They usually have a good idea of what's available and can point you in the right direction. Did a doctor say it must be these specific dosages?
