The dispensary at work prescribe this for me after a fall I had came with instructions on the bottle I just want to know if it's like Tylenol 3? ## Hello , no, Tylenol is Tylenol. #3 has a little bit of codeine in it and it is not available OTC. It sounds like you have plain acetaminophen. ... ## Pj, also be aware of the dosage you are taking. Acetaminophen can be hard on the liver so never take too much of it! But yeah, what HOUSE said is correct. The Tylenol #3 has both acetaminophen and codeine in it and is not OTC. ## He is right. The drug manufacturers put Tylenol with the codene so they can kill you if you take over 3,000 mg of Tylenol per day.

Is it okay to take Instaflex with Declofenac, Tramadol and Tylenol. I know white will bark has a substance similar to aspirin. I'm wondering about the Declofenac (NSAID) with an aspirin-type ingredient. Also, I no longer have AFIB but am still taking a low dose of Atenolol and Flecainide (preventive) and am slowing going off of it. Okay to take the Instaflex. My doc doesn't know a lot about these herbs. ## Hello, Nancy! How are you? I'm sorry, but no one knows a lot about herbs and natural remedies. Since they can't be patented like prescription drugs, no one has any reason to spend the money to evaluate them for side effects or interactions with medications. Have you tried contacting the manufacturers to ask if they have any information for you? ## Can you take instafle...

Why was this Tylenol product taken off the market? My husband & I both used this product and it really worked. I asked a Weis pharmacy employee and they couldn't tell me why it is no longer available. They suggested contacting the company. Is there something else available to replace this product in the Tylenol line? Thank you. ## As to Tylenol Severe Allergy, one of its ingredients was Pseudoephedrine and all medications that contain it are now only available at the pharmacy counter, where you have to ask for them, sign for them and show identification to make the purchase. Many manufacturers lost sales due to this restriction, so they either pulled them from the market or changed the formulations to no longer contain the Pseudoephedrine. I am not sure if Tylenol still has a si...

Childrens liquid Ibuprofen also....help! ## I'm sorry, I wish we could help, but this is an information only website. this site does not manufacture nor sell any medications. Have you tried contacting any other manufacturers? I'm sure you're aware that they are many companies that make the generic or store brands of medications. Do you have any drug reps that come to the office that you could ask if they have samples or know how to obtain some?

White oval shaped pill with v365 markings. Are these 10mg. Vicodin? I'm not sure as they are old? Any idea what they are? ## M365 is supposed to be the real marking on a white oval 5/325 generic Vicodin tablet. If there is a cursive V instead of an M, then my guess would be that the manufacturer was none other than Vintage Pharmaceutical (now known as Qualitest). But if it's an M, then the manufacturer is Mallinckrodt. Perhaps it would be a good idea to contact either one of these manufacturers directly regarding this inquiry, just to cover all angles. Also, depending on where or how you came about getting this pill, it may even be a counterfeit (if not from a licensed pharmacy)... ## The v 365 is an old version of Vicodin, it was 5 mg hydrocodone 500 mg of tylenol

I was taking Lortab 10-325, went to my doc today and he gave me Lortab 10-500MG, what is the difference? Did I get a stronger pain pill or a weaker one?? ## The only difference is that one has 325 mg tylenol and the other one has 500 mg tylenol. The FDA made manufacturers not put more than 325 mg into the prescription combination medications effective Jan 2014.The FDA recently took steps to withdraw their approval for prescription medications that contain more than 325 mg tylenol. It won't be long before you won't be able to get any prescription drugs with more than 325 mg tylenol. Your dr may have just made a mistake. But, yo udo need to mention it to him when you see him again. Also effective Oct 6, 2014 Lortab will become a Schedule II medications and thee will be no refills,...

The magnesium sterate is it plant based or pork ? ## Where can I find Hydroocodone made by Watson in Atlanta GA. Is Watson still manufacturing them since they lowered the Tylenol dosage? ## @Peggy, Based on my research, Watson doesn't appear to list these types of details on their webpage. However, what I am finding is that most drug manufacturers who do use Magnesium stearate as a filler in their tablets, also derive/source it from beef. If you have any reservations about this, it may be best to talk with your doctor or pharmacist about any allergies you might have to certain types of animal products. This way problems like that can be avoided in subsequent prescriptions. For additional product information you can also reach the manufacturer directly at: +1 (800) 272-5525 @Rebecca,...

WOULD SOMEBODY PLEASE GIVE ME THE BRAND MANUFACTURERS OF PERCOCET 10, BOTH THE 325, AND 650 TYLENOL TYPE? IF WHAT I JUST ENDURED THE LAST MONTH WAS BRAND 10/325 GENERIC PERCOCET BY ENDO, VARIANCE FROM MY WATSON GENERIC, THEN I'M REALLY GOING TO HAVE TO FIND SOMETHING DIFFERENT. I DONOT LIKE HYDROCODONE, I'M VERY SENSITIVE TO ALL VARIANCES IN ALL MEDS. HYDROCODONE WHICH IS ONLY DIFFERENT BY A SMALL SYNTHETIC DIFFERENCE, MAY BE OK IF YOU WANT QUICK RELIEF AND A QUICK ADDICTION TO A PAIN MED. I KNOW EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT, I'M PROBABLY MORE SENSITIVE TO MEDS THAN MOST! PLEASE JUST FILL ME IN ON WHO MAKES GENERIC PERCOCET NOW, NOT WHO REPACKAGES IT, WHAT COMPANY ACTUALLY MAKES IT? THANK YOU VERY MUCH! I HURT SO BAD I AM EXHAUSTED AND DON'T HAVE ENERGY TO DO RESEARCH LIKE I US...

light green watson 503 ## This is generic Lorcet, Lortab, Vicodin. It has 10mg of hydrocodone, (addictive and strong narcotic pain killer), and 650mg of acetaminophen (Tylenol.) It is used for moderate to severe pain and can cause constipation, stomach aches, (especially if taken without food), euphoria, marked drowsiness, dizziness. ## A note that I want to add here is that as of 2013, the FDA has made a request that all manufacturers lower the amount of Acetaminophen in these combination prescription products to no more than 325mgs per dose. There are major concerns about the dangers of liver damage and failure that can be associated with long-term use of high amounts, as well as the toxicity of overdose. Some manufacturers have already begun to implement the change and the rest are e...

Has federal funding for methadone decreased since the "opiodemic"? I started taking opiates in 1992 because of extreme pain in my hip which I had suffered with since 1979. The medical profession gave me NSAID's and a small script for Tylenol-3. I have since had 2 hip replacements. I am 59 yrs old. I was on and off methadone for years and have been on it steady for 10 years and stayed clean. During this time I have gone from paying $0 to what will start next month at $360.00/mo. ## Manufacturers are free to set their own prices in the U.S. according to supply and demand. Thus, it really has nothing to do with federal regulations, but more to do with market competition and capitalism. The FDA warns that Methadone carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effec...

what is the pill? ## Based on my investigation, an oblong blue pill marked "NT" is "rumored to be" Tylenol cold and sinus nighttime, containing Acetaminophen, Diphenhydramine and Pseudoephedrine. "NT" is commonly used to depict nighttime versions of various over the counter medications. NOTE: McNeil Consumer Healthcare also manufacturers a related blue & white capsule with the following imprint [TYLENOL FLU NT], containing Acetaminophen 500mg, Diphenhydramine 25mg and Pseudoephedrine 30mg. - NDC: 00045-0174. Can we take something else to get back the 175mg of Tylenol in some way to get back the pain reliever? (Blue watson vs. white watson) if they took OUT the dye and they took OUT 175mg of the Tylenol then why is the pi;; the same size? What did they replace it with they could be causing my issues? blisters, white bumps and swelling ## Hi jo, Sorry to hear about those strange side effects you've been experiencing recently. It sounds to me like there's something drug manufacturers are not telling us. Surely it'll come out of the wood work over the next few years when the FDA decides to investigate why so many patients aren't getting any relief from these new meds. A lot of the time, certain side effects can also be associated with all the binders and fillers they put in each...

Do you know what they will substitute the hydrocodone whith ## Hi Rhonda, They're not actually discontinuing this medication. All they are really doing is lessening the amount of Acetaminophen in their products. It started sometime earlier this year, but all manufacturers have to abide by this new law which only allows up to 325 mgs of Acetaminophen. This is primarily due to safety concerns with liver toxicity. Some pain management patients suggest taking an extra Tylenol to make up for it. However I wouldn't necessarily recommend more of something that is considered to be so toxic. Perhaps steering more in the direction of natural alternatives would be a good choice if you're seeking additional relief with less side effects. I hope this helps! ## Thank you so much for your ...

Where can I find a list and rating for generic drug manufacturing companies? I've used generics for years without a problem, until recently. I'd like to become more informed about the names of the most reliable, highly qualified generic manufacturers versus those with lower ratings. Is there such a source? Who should I contact if I believe a generic drug I've bought is inferior? ## Deb, I hear we get a lot of our drugs from China that doesn't dose correctly. A person told me they put half the medication in some of the pain killer and that's why they don't work as well as name brand. When I buy Tylenol or Motrin I will not buy generic. You can ask your pharmacist to only order name brand meds but your insurance might not pay for it. ## I don't know where all th...

There is a football-shaped white pill that is getting everybody confused. I would like the pictures of both and an explanation with them please. It has "M2A4-57344" on the pills. Some say it's Tylenol, some say Oxycodone or Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen. Are there two exact same pills with the same numbers, and if so, how do you tell the difference? ## Edwards, there is only one tablet available with this marking and it contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen; a generic or store brand of Extra Strength Tylenol. Pill Size: 17mm Ref: DailyMed Sometimes the listed manufacturer may vary, depending on who is distributing it, since the rules are not as strict for over the counter medications. White Lortab is there any over the counter Meds to help it work? Meds have Been change from pink lortabs, to blue to white. Each time it gets worst. Can I take Tylenol to help, if so how much? ## No, since Lortab already contains Acetaminophen, adding more isn't advisable, because long-term use of high doses has the potential to cause liver damage or failure. Additionally, too much of it taken in a day can be toxic and there have been cases where such toxicity has been fatal. Learn more Lortab details here. Those are the main reasons that the FDA has requested that the Acetaminophen in all of these combination narcotics be lowered to a maximum of 325mgs per dosage. Some manufacturers have already begun to implement the changes and the rest are expected to have done so by January of ...
