If anything, I would suggest contacting them by email or phone after visiting the link below: NOTE: their contact info is at the bottom of the page. I can only assume that the lack of availability is partly caused by the increasing number of Oxycodone addicts/abusers. But I think if you were to contact them directly about your situation then they may be able to ship some over to your local pharmacy. I hop...

manufacturers of the medication oxycodone ## Which formulation? There is a 30mg extended release, under the name brand Oxycontin, that is manufactured by Purdue. However, there is also a regular release 30mg formulation that is available under the name brand Roxocidone and as a generic, so it is available from several different manufacturers. ## What is the problem with the shortage on the 30mg oxycodones? I'm a cancer patient in desperate need of my meds and i have to suffer in pain because i can't locate 30mg oxycodones anywhere. My wife drove over a hundred miles trying to locate my medicine so i wouldn't hurt, this is rediculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ## Why is it so difficult to fill my 30 mg oxycodone for my pain due to cancer. I have been on Oxycodone 30 mg for several years and from several manufacturers. Recently I was given 30mg from a manufacturer called Caraco. I was taking up to two at a time followed by a third in a hour because I was not getting any relief. I spoke to my dr and explained I was going thru withdrawals and getting no relief from my pain with the meds that have always worked in the past. He went ahead and prescribed 15 mg of oxycodone so I could get a different manufacturer due to my pharmacy saying there was a shortage of Oxycodone they were not able to get any of the 30 mg due to a shortage of the drug. The only manufacturer available was Caraco. I looked them up and found they have been in trouble before for not putting the ingredient in the medicine. How can we as patients be sure we ...

Recently filled a script for oxycodone 30mg. It has a m on one side and 30 on the other. The coating is so hard you can hardly break it in half. Looked up the pill and it appears to be a brighter blue that is thinner in the middle. It does not seem to be as effective in strength as either the A215 or a K9. Is there something wrong with these pills? ## Hello, Cat! How are you? These tablets are manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals. There is nothing that states they must look the same as those made by the other manufactures, so it is normal for generics to look different. Rather than breaking them, you should get yourself a pill cutter, it cuts them much easier and is more accurate. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit form...

who manufacturers roxicodone 30 mg markings A 215 ## Hello, Bird! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Actavis. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I got k,9 it's a darker blue than whawhat I've seen before are these real or fake ## @the crazy one, I believe the only honest way to know for certain that what you have is real (outside of getting it analyzed by a lab) would depend upon whether you got it filled at a real licensed pharmacy and not by some other means. Legitimate pharmacies don't dispense fake medication, although sometimes manufacturers have been known to alter the color of their pills without giving any prior notice to patients. So that's something to keep in mind as well. Regardless, "if" the pill wasn't obtained legitimately and it doesn't look like what you're used to seeing, then it's probably safe to bet that it is fake. However, this is something that only you would know t...

IMPRINT 114, WHITE ROUND 30 MG OXYCODONE, BY MAYNE MANUFACTURER. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I RECEIVED THIS BRAND. I USUALLY GET THE MALLINCKRODT. WHAT IS DIFFERENCE AND DOES ANYONE HAVE REVIEWS? ALSO, IS IT EXTENDED RELEASE? ## Hello, SuzieQ! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Mylan Pharmaceuticals and they do list it as containing 30mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation. The only difference is that it is manufactured by a different company, that is normal with generics. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Has anyone taken this one? If so, can you chime in, please? ## They suck for pain, this brand rp 30 roun...

The light blue do not work near as well as the dark blue ones. Can u ask the pharmacist to get them from a different manufacturer with out being treated like a drug seeker?

ehh they arent that bad. I was a little apprehensive at first preferring the malinkrodt (mbox) or a-215's, or k9's but these, all though not wondeful did the job ## Just switched to Zydus 10mg that I take 2 of and was expecting the worse after reading the reviews & they kicked my ass. Like taking a pain med for the first time again. So crazy that the other reviews hate it. Probably accidentally put a ton of active in the natch I got. Lol. ## Everyone is different, so the stuff from one manufacturer that works well for you might not work as well for someone else, and vice-versa. The FDA warns that Oxycodone carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Is there a list of name brands of Oxycodone 30mg that are rated by consumers from the best to worst? Meaning the meds that worked the best for most patients. ## The only name brand roxicodone has 54 199 imprinted on them and you can tell a huge difference. ## If such a list did exist, my guess is that it wouldn't be accurate enough to be useful, as we all react/respond differently to not only the active ingredient (based on tolerance, side effects, etc), but also the inactive ingredients that affect bioavailability and cause side effects as well. Some patients may even be hypersensitive to certain binders & fillers. That said, trial and error is really the only viable way to know for sure what works for you and what doesn't. If you do come across a manufacturer that does wor...

Very underdosed, I am in disbelief there is not a recall. I have to take twice the amount to sustain comfort compared to mallincroft brand. These tiny little pills are white with 15 on one side. Please anyone else having this problem post it or email me. ## I was speaking of the zydus brand of oxycodone 30 mg in previous post of them being underdosed and giving headaches and upsetting stomach. ## Hi, Tim! Sorry about the problem that you're having. What is the complete imprint on these tablets? I do want to let you know that it isn't just you, there have been several other posts complaining about the Zydus Oxycodone not being as effective as that from other manufacturers. Are they supposed to be dark blue or light blue? ## I haven't seen any photographs of this pill to verify, but the product description by Epic Pharma (its manufacturer) just denotes them as being "blue" and doesn't get any more specific than that. However, visiting the link below you can check out the section titled "HOW SUPPLIED" for more written details on what it's supposed to look like: epic-pharma.com/assets/oxycodone-hcl-outsert.pdf I hope this helps! If you don't mind my asking, what is it that has you questioning their appearance? Are you getting them filled by a licensed pharmacy? ## I just got some. How are you? There is no instant release 30mg Oxycodone, the ones manufactured by Mallinckrodt with the M on them are regular release tablets, they work within about 15 to 20 minutes of taking them. That said, there have always been several of this dosage available from different manufacturers. That is very common with generics, so yes, they most likely do have one from a different manufacturer. The FDA lists this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and m...

are these 100% oxycodone? ## This tablet contains 30mgs of Immediate Release Oxycodone, and no other drugs. Depending on the manufacturer however, there are probably fillers or what they call inactive ingredients that help bind the pill. Other than that you can be rest assured that the only drug is Oxycodone. I need to know if oxycodone (manufacturer QLT) is gluten and soy free. ## Hi Bella, According to nih.gov, oxycodone made by QLT Pharmaceuticals has been reported to contain the following set of inactive ingredients: lactose monohydrate magnesium stearate microcrystalline cellulose povidone sodium starch glycolate stearic acid NOTE: the 15 and 30mg tablets also have yellow and/or blue dye. Most of those ingredients seem fine in terms of not being associated with gluten or soy. However an article by medicine.virginia.edu states that "sodium starch glycolate" is a type of starch that's usually obtained from a potato, BUT drug companies may take it from any starch source (including those with gluten) - so you may have to speak with the manufacturer directly in order to find out ...

I ,m prescribed Oxycodone 30mg each month for pain and have gotten different kinds of them and I know that they say the same ingredients in all of them. But I know what work the best for me and I don't want to go back to the 40or 80mg .I,m hoping you mite know what stores the pharmacy distribute them to ## Please tell me the doctor's name i need help for pain ## @Dave, To my understanding, pharmacies aren't necessarily the one's distributing the meds to different stores, but rather, it's the manufacturers who market & distribute their meds to various pharmacies. And as far as receiving a certain dosage, this is something that your doctor is supposed to specify on your prescription - so what I would encourage you to do is talk with him/her directly in order to cla...

I am knowledgeable about all the different brands of Oxycodone. I broke my neck in a car accident in October 2009 and been going back and forth to pain management doctors. ## Are you referring to brands, formulations or manufacturers? There are 3 brand name for Oxycodone, by itself, on the U.S. market and each represents a different formulation. There is Oxycontin, which is a 12-hour time released formulation, Roxicodone, which is a regular release formulation and OxyIR, which is an instant release formulation. Of those, the Roxicodone and OxyIR are both available as generics and those are made by many different manufacturers. Then, there are the combinations that are available. Percocet is a regular release formuation that contains Oxycodone and Acetaminophen, it is also available as a...

Don't relieve pain. Avoid them, they may have 3 or 4 mg of oxycodone in them, but only the manufacturer in India would know.sarc. ## I am very sorry that this medication didn't work for you, with some slight fluctuations in generics, not all of them work for everyone. However, the manufactured is Caraco, which is under Sun Pharma and they are actually currently based in Detroit, Michigan…not India. And regardless of where a medication is manufactured, if it is approved by the FDA and available in the U.S. it has to meet the same quality and efficacy standards as any other. I live in MD and it seems like every drugstore I go to tell me (we don't carry them. I'm at my wits end with this s#it. I did find some 242's but I heard they were no good. I am in pain and need some help ## What city/county you in ## Unfortunately, we are not into the time of year when shortages of controlled substances usually occur due to mandatory manufacturing limits. Once a manufacturer reaches their yearly allotted limit, they cannot manufacture any new product, until after the new year. Every year that I can remember, this has resulted in demand exceeding supply and a shortage occurring for the last few months of the year. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry m...

I just picked up my prescription from a mom n pop pharmacy. Seems like every other month they have a different manufacturer. Trust me I know - they buy the cheapest brand lot available at the time. But these new ones I just got are horrible. They're produced by Lupin Pharmaceuticals. They are blue in color and HARD as a rock!!! When I visit the website they keep comparing themselves to Mallinckrodt. I used to get Mallinckrodt before I switched to the new pharmacy and they were by far the best. But just be aware these new ones by Lupin SUCK so check your pills before you leave the window and request different ones. You'll thank me later. ## Interesting. Thanks. The Mallinckrodt Adderall are awful so I would have been worried about their pain meds. ## What difference is it if they...
